Room spotless, as was the bathroom. Very cordial owner/staff. Motorbike rental - having lived in Indonesia for a LONG time, the island is the safest place for novice riders in the entire country. Bottomless coffee and tea in the common area. And a few minutes' walk to the fresh market (excellent cashews for sale), the port, 3 dive shops, various coffee shops/restaurants, and the central square.
Breakfast supposedly included, but it was not mentioned, ever - this may well be irregular, though, due to Ramadan.
While the homestay has a courtyard, it's a tad grim, surrounded by high walls and with but a scrap of grass - though I'd guess all the homestays in town are similar. It's also only a stone's throw from the main mosque, and the calls to prayer are painfully loud.

Super rapport qualité/prix, chambres propres et agréables. Nous avons passé un séjour de 4 nuits reposant. Très bien situé, on se déplace facilement en scooter.
Pas beaucoup de choix de petit-déjeuner, mais il y a une rue derrière l'hotel avec pleins de restaurants sympa.

Petit hôtel bien placé dans le centre bourg de Karimunjawa, de standard indonésien, c’est à dire avec un personnel à l’écoute, arrangeant et toujours très agréable, souriant. Le bon petit déj était toujours servi sur la table extérieur devant la chambre. Un service laundry affilié à l’hôtel, ainsi qu’un service taxi.
Ce que nous aurons pu ne pas apprécier, est le chant du muezzin tôt le matin vu le minaret très proche.
Finalement la mélopée se fusionnait dans nos rêves et ne nous a jamais réveillé complètement.

Centraal gelegen in het stadje, vlak bij de markt waar s avonds verse vis van de grill verkocht word om daar te eten.
Alles in het stadje te voet goed te bereiken. Supermarktje ca 100m lopen
HOMESTAY ligt net achter een ander huis waardoor het een rustig binnenplaats gevoel geeft.
Vriendelijke eigenaren. Brommerverhuur ( goede!), regelen alles wat je nodig hebt ook.
Nette kamers en schoon!
geweldig ontbijt ( Ik at Indonesisch maar je kan ook voor eenvoudiger Westers ontbijt kiezen)
