The star was Uga the brilliant hotel manager. Nothing was too much for him. What a lovely and professional man. Honestly, we don’t think we’ve ever met such a nice guy in all our years of hotels and holidays. Really superb.
Misunderstood the BBQ - didn’t realise we would have to do it ourselves. Visualised a big BBQ by the beach but we had to cook it ourselves. The ingredients were top quality but it was a bit boring (no atmosphere, could do with some music) and we were glad that we could eat at the beautiful restaurant too. (Really luxurious!)
Also the security for our room wasn’t great. Our bedroom locked but the area with our bathroom and toilet didn’t. We felt ok as we are a couple but if I’d been travelling alone I would have found this distressing.
Lastly, there’s not much to do locally in the evening. Would have been nice to have more choice on times for breakfast and evening meal.

La habitación estaba genial, moderna y amplia para el estándar japonés. Pasamos dos noches muy a gusto.
El baño del rooftop era una pasada y, además, se podía aparcar enfrente sin ningún coste añadido.
Quizás habría estado mejor alojarnos en Ito o Atami, pero Usami era un buen sitio para moverse con el coche.

温泉から海が見えてきれいでした
部屋も清潔です
ガーデンビューと書かれていますが、木の壁が見えるだけです
4万円以上払う場合は他にも選択肢があります
レセプションはなくスタッフもすぐつかまるとは限らないのでホテルではなくAirbnb感覚で泊まりたい方に向いていると思います
