Hospitality was above and beyond. I felt welcomed as Ms. Harris ensured the room was perfectly set up, and respectfully guided me how to access the building. I've been traveling frequently over the last 3 months for business, legal, and musical engagements. Sometimes it's difficult for me to rest due to various things, however THIS house was the CLEANEST place I've stayed in. I can tell Ms. Harris takes pride in maintaining this home and I am privileged she has her doors open to the public. Clean beautiful accommodations. Highly recommend.
There is absolutely nothing I didn't like. I felt like I was staying with one of my dear Aunties' house and I wanted to make sure I left the place as good as I found it. It's a beautiful house and truly a treat to stay in a home like this. When people put this much care into welcoming you and maintaining a place, it feels good putting in the effort to reciprocate showing you are respecting your stay.

Close to subway and bus stop, affordable for what you get- quiet and a room to sleep because you spend all day out and about in the city

Good location. Very quiet. Close to the bus, but not too close. Comfortable bedding. Nice hot shower. Good quality towels. I appreciated the fresh flowers on the table. The outside of the property looks pretty
The inside looks clean but doesn’t smell clean. Bathrooms and kitchen are shared. No shampoo or body wash were provided. We had to ask for towels to be provided. We were expected to do our own cleaning. Plenty of annoying signs everywhere that made us feel like we were not trusted. Worst of all, I hated the lack of communication prior to check in, and sure enough, the room was not ready for us when we arrived. No one was expecting us. I had to bang on the door and call on the phone repeatedly. When she finally picked up the phone, she didn’t even ask my name, but rudely said that I had no reservation. I explained that my reservation was confirmed and paid for 2 months in advance, and I even had a text message from her saying that she looked forward to hosting us. Then she proceeded to try to blame on me the fact that she didn’t expect us. She said that I should have called, and she also said that she doesn’t pick up calls from numbers like mine (out of state with a plus sign). It was extremely upsetting and ruined my stay significantly. And then there was the fact that we felt no privacy. Even though we would be gone for 12 hours a day, someone would barge in at 10 pm to take out the trash.
