Delightful cottage in the heart of Downtown Camden! Everything was in the cottage that you could want: air conditioning, heat (from 2 darling electric fireplaces), nice pool in the main house across the parking lot, 2 large tvs, full, though small, kitchen. Just perfect for a couple!

Pros: Location: walking distance anywhere Breakfast: pretty good for 3 star hotel Dog friendly, nice views to the river below Safe neighborhood DVD library available Cons: Was somewhat dirty and neglected; Found spiders all over; Kitchen cabinets didn’t close shut posing a risk and should have been fixed beforehand; garbage bags not provided; Dish soap not provided; Extremely small hot water heater: can’t take a shower for more than 5 minutes; Stains on “clean dishes”; corn webs; bedroom door doesn’t close well. The place from outside looks charming but the atmosphere inside is more of a rustic utility shed converted into a “cottage”. Awkward if not unsafe power lines, dated amenities, and overall run down. One chair wasn’t very stable! The only saving grace was the town itself. Management refused to compensate for the very low standard accommodations when complaints were formally made by phone and in writing. There was nothing to “fix” per se. We felt uncomfortable. Place is overrated and the cost is a total rip-off. We enjoyed our stay because of the good food around and the many attraction but the accommodation itself was disastrous. My husband and I ran out of hot water twice. We ran into debris on the floor often. The lights were weird and somewhat difficult to figure out... If you expect a clean and neat place, this ain’t it. It’s basically one level up from camping. We are sorely disappointed and have no intention to return!

There was no TV, service was apparently not connected. Internet failed second day, electrics must have been a fire hazard, hair dryer not working, kitchen utensils dirty and inadequate, outside grill rusty and unusable. There was no wardrobe, the furniture would have not have been accepted by a charity shop and the outside grill was rusty and unusable. We have photos if you wish to see them.

Perfect spot for our family of 4. Full kitchen with full size fridge, stove, oven, microwave & toaster are great. The location is amazing in downtown Camden with free parking. The gardens with beautiful flowers and vegetables add to the cute space. The ice cream spot just over the foot bridge is delish!
