Situated in Camden, this attractive cottage for $220 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This sunny Cozy home-like cottage is set in a quiet neighborhood in Camden, Maine. Enter through the kitchen, and nostalgia will overtake as you step into the 1950's; from the table and chairs to the red refrigerator; A fully stocked retro kitchen has all the amenities you need to make great meals, or if you prefer take-out, you'll thoroughly enjoy sitting at 'grandma's table' with formica top and chrome base. Truly one of a kind. Also an option is to have your morning coffee (local blueberry coffee perhaps?) and pastry on the patio deck with 1950's red chairs. The patio umbrella is ready to put up if you need a little shade. The spacious living room boasts a leather couch, a comfy side chair and... yes, a retro cloth chair to balance it out as you watch the Big Screen TV; Are you working and need to do some business or keep up with whats going on at home? High Speed Wi-Fi and long distance phone service is available (or the retro, 'plugged in the wall' phone!) The master bedroom includes a Queen size bed with reading lamp and nightstand, antique dresser with mirror. Plush pillow-top mattress with fluffy down comforters for cool summer nights. A closet complete with hangers and ironing board. Storage closet to the side for suitcase storage. The second bedroom has a new double bed. Dresser, mirror and closet with extra bedding. Camden Cottage is located halfway between Portland and Bar Harbor, and is the ideal spot to stay and visit all points in Maine. If Newspapers are outdated in your life, grab your i-pad, computer or phone and enjoy the hi speed Wi-Fi,. With the amenities at this cute cottage (Retro!!!) it might be tempting to put in a few hours of work; but try to squash the temptation to work while on vacation- instead head on out for a short walk to the Camden harbor and enjoy breakfast at the Camden Deli overlooking the waterfall from Lake Megunticook. The cottage is so cozy and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable. We slept great. We love this area! It's so conveniently located. Walking distance to downtown Camden. We will definitely want to stay here again.

You cannot help to smile when you walk into the kitchen of this adorable little house! Everything was EXACTLY as it said it would be. Beds were comfortable, quiet neighborhood and so close to town. A great little walk, especially on a nice day. We stayed in 4 properties on our recent vacation and noticed that it is the little things that really make a rental more comfortable. This house had it all! Clean, comfortable and plenty of information on the area and clear check-out procedures (I have learned that not all places do that!).

We so enjoyed our stay in Camden!!! The cottage was well appointed and we didn’t need anything additional. Absolutely loved the “”retro” look! We could have walked to town (a New York City block!) it because of the humidity, we drove instead. Would rent again if we return with Henry!

This is our second visit and everything is perfect. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The decor is so much fun. The location is convenient to downtown and other points on the coast. If we return to Maine, we live in SW Florida, we will definitely reservebthis home.

We loved the cottage! Very comfortable, clean, well located in a nice calm neighborhood. We had everything we needed to make our experience in Maine even better. There was a problem with the wi fi but Lanita responded immediately and the problem was solved. It is a place I would recommend to my family and friends.

Perfect little cottage for a Camden getaway! The property owner, Lanita, gave us a fantastic tour of town in her vintage Chevy and was very responsive and available for anything that came up during our stay. The property was dog friendly, sparkling clean and well equipped as described. Already planning to stay again next year.

Lanita’s little yellow cottage is so cute and filled with retro touches. It is super clean, well maintained and very comfortable. It is located in a pleasant neighborhood and a short walk to town. Lanita was wonderful to communicate with and very responsive to questions. The bathroom is quite small but wasn’t a problem for us. We would stay here again!

We loved the house! It was a great location, just a short 5 min walk to town. Beds were comfortable and the entire house was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the Chairs and table on the back deck and chairs out front. The house also had a good grill, which often rentals don’t have. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook big and small meals, complete with a “junk drawer” and pantry/linen closet like at home which came in handy for such things like some tape, fan, pen/paper or a chip clip :). We also used the washer/dryer several times allowing us to pack light for the week. We hope to be back to Camden in the future and would definitely stay here again

This is a perfect home away from home. Everything you would need is there. Though I don't cook on vacation, the kitchen is well stocked for doing so. The beds were very comfortable, as well as the living room. Very clean. Convenient to downtown Camden. I would highly recommend this place to stay. I know if we returned to Maine I would definitely stay there. Thank you for sharing your home. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary, and Ms Medina surprised us with flowers and cupcakes. She was available if we had questions, thank you again.
