About this house rental
Situated in Cape Coral, this charming house for $455 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. The PERFECT property for a large family get-together or a group reunion! This home has 6 bedrooms and sleeps 14 so everyone can have their own space. This is a great place to unwind, reconnect, and soak up the Florida sun at the beautiful saltwater pool/tiki bar. Mermaids Cove has 6 bedrooms. 3 of the bedrooms have king-size beds. 2 of the bedrooms have two twin beds in each room, and the last bedroom has two sets of bunkbeds for a total of 4 beds in that room. The 6 bedrooms are all furnished with top quality mattresses and linens. The crown jewel of this property is the beautifully landscaped pool with waterfall. Western exposure means you will get that nice afternoon/evening sun on the lanai. The heated salt-water pool is kept at a comfortable 84 degrees. There are pool floats and toys available for your use. The outdoor tiki bar is fully equipped with a large propane grill, sink, beverage refrigerator, and even a blender for whipping up some frozen margaritas. You and your friends will spend plenty of time soaking up the Florida sun in this gorgeous outdoor paradise. If you or the kids do need a break from the sun, there's entertainment inside as well. The family room features a big TV screen to put on your favorite movie. You can use your Hulu or Netflix account, or watch one of the 140 channels provided. The house is equipped with free wireless internet with a mesh wifi system to provide complete coverage in the house. A wireless laser printer is tucked away in the laundry room in case you need to print any documents. The well-appointed kitchen has all of the gadgets including a coffee grinder, 2 coffee makers, blender, electric kettle, waffle maker, mixer, and toaster. There are large pots and pans to cook for a group. The water supply is filtered with a reverse osmosis filtration system to provide clean, healthy drinking water. The freezer has two ice makers to provide plenty of ice for your beverages. There is also a beverage cooler in the kitchen, and an additional refrigerator in the garage. There are several different sizes of bicycles and helmets available in the garage. Sheets, bath towels and washcloths, and beach towels are provided. Travelling with a baby? The house has 2 pack-and-plays, a highchair, and an umbrella stroller available for your use. Linens are provided, as well as towels, hand towels, washcloths, beach towels, and kitchen towels.

Amy was a great host and very prompt with all of her responses. We enjoyed the house it had room for my whole family and made a great home base for our spring break. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed to make it feel like a home. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Our 3 generation Family of 14 enjoyed a fun week in this home. The six grandkids ages 4-11 lived in the pool everyday. It’s such a nice feature of this home with the tiki bar and patio. The patio chairs are so comfy and just enough of them so everyone could sit and visit. The layout of the house and all the beds made staying here work for all the families. We all had our own space. We thought the kitchen was well stocked with dishes for all our cooking and big enough we could all help prepare things. The open layout of the home made visiting easy and also the two dining tables were great for our card playing. We used the washer/dryer a lot and even the printer for our days we had work to do. The second hot water heater is such a plus and there’s just so many things that would make this home one that we consider renting again. Lobster lady seafood market down the street has great seafood to bring home and make a boil pot as well as the Publix for quick trips to the store. We didn’t need to call for any assistance but with the welcome text messages we had from Amy the first day we knew she was there if we needed her. Also just a wonderful thing she did for us was to let us check in early on our arrival day because the house was ready before 4pm. Just a super experience all around. We rent a home each year for a family trip and this was one of our top vacation rentals.

The home is spacious with an inviting floor plan. The pool area is cozy with plenty of seating and a great grilling outdoor kitchen. The location is close to grocery stores and restaurants. I would highly recommend this home to others.

We had a great time staying at this home in Cape Coral. The pool was wonderful and the kitchen was big enough to accommodate all of our cooking. This was hands down the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The house itself was amazing and already had everything that you would need to cook your own meals there in terms of utensils and Greer cocktail maker that I now have to go out and buy one because it was so awesome.
The location is very convenient and provides close access to stores, restaurants, and activities. The beaches we visited are about thirty minutes away but the traffic was never bad coming to or from the beach.
This is the first VRBO we’ve had where we walked away talking about rebooking it.
Try the Creamery that is only a few minutes away. It’s my only regret because I didn’t find it until two days left in our trip.

We very much enjoyed Mermaid Cove. The pool was wonderful and we used the bikes to explore the area. The house was tucked in a quiet neighborhood and was large enough for three generations.

Lovely peaceful property
Our group of 10 adults had a wonderful stay at this property as it had everything we needed. The kitchen is stocked incredibly well for a large group like ours. The grill behind the Tiki bar allowed a group to gather while grilling, while the rest of the group could relax on the ample chairs around the pool. Large dining table seated us all, along with a second for gaming. Living area was spacious and allowed us to watch the Olympics from all angles. The pool is so peaceful with the beautiful landscaping and waterfall. We didn’t want to leave! Host was easily accessible. Can’t say enough about this property. Highly recommend!
