About this house rental
We are nestled in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. Our fabulous hilltop location overlooking several lush valleys inspired our name. The Enchanted Valley View is a fully furnished guest residence with a fabulous panoramic view of the surrounding valleys. The master bedroom offers a rustic flavor with a queen size bed, flat screen TV and access to a full patio overlooking the valleys. The other bedroom is spacious with a full size bed and walk-in closet. The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of counter space, a glass top electric range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator and all necessary utensils. A set of french doors from the kitchen will lead you to the glass enclosed sun room that overlooks the valleys. There are patios on either side of the sun room ready for barbecuing or simply relaxing in the fresh country air. The living room offers extra sleeping space with a queen size sofa bed. The large bathroom has a full size shower.

The views are awesome from the decks and the sunroom. We only stayed one night but were happy with the place. James was very friendly.

The owner was very nice and accommodating. Everything was what you would find at your grandmother's house. I am the type of person who believes everything has its place. I don't believe a rental needs things like a junk drawer. There were piles of papers, bags of bags, a broken lamp in the corner, extra chairs and tables in the 3 season room. You couldn't walk around without hitting a chair or table, etc. It was obvious the owner cleaned the place, but things were missed like the refrigerator and I felt like I had to clean everything before I could be comfortable. There were ripped chairs, comforters were ripped, stained carpets, pieces of 2x4s, a Christmas decoration behind the TV, books in piles in the sun room that had fallen over on the floor.There was no air conditioning except for the bedrooms. The refrigerator didn't keep up and we ended up throwing our food away at the end of our stay. The handle on the refrigerator broke off and was not replaced. There were handles on closets that were broken. The door in one bedroom put a hole in the wall and someone shoved plastic bags in the hole instead of going out and getting a circular thing for the wall and a door stopper so the doorknob wouldn't hit the wall anymore.The front step seemed dangerous - loose and wobbly. The kitchen cabinets were very messy. Nothing organized. Extra pieces of laminate floor in the cabinets that curled up. This place had an awesome view. Needs upgrades and deep cleaning.
