Nestled in Lake Junaluska, this lovely condo for $129 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Newly built interior in this 2 bedroom one bath apartment with Lake Junaluska view from deck. Adjacent hiking trail with many more hiking options nearby. All new appliances, fully equipped kitchen, nicely decorated throughout. Find yourself at beautiful Lake Junaluska surrounded by the magnificent Blue Ridge Mountains. Adjacent Waynesville, NC is very artsy with many neat shops, great restaurants, unique home furnishings stores and galleries. Touristy Maggie Valley is just six miles down the road. Cherokee with all its shops, Cherokee Nation Museum and Harrah's Casino is only a 35 minute drive through the scenic Smoky Mountains. You could even spot a Black Bear or Elk along the way, which are thriving in Western NC. Enjoy swimming and hiking in the summer, snow skiing and snow tubing in the winter (ONLY 10 MILES TO THE NEAREST SKI LIFT AND 6 MILES TO FAMILY SNOW TUBING, see photos). Our property sits on the Lake Junaluska grounds within walking distance to the Lake, which has a two and a quarter mile hiking trail around the lake. Speaking of hiking, nearby there are some of the best hiking you will find anywhere, with scenic waterfalls, from "easy" to "extreme" opportunities. VERY FAST INTERNET WIFI and 3 SMART TVs ARE INCLUDED. Everything inside is very new just waiting for you to enjoy: Washer, dryer, range, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker (upscale coffee provided), ELECTRIC FIREPLACE, stylish lighting with central heat and air. Luxury towels, linens, flatware, silverware, kitchen utensils, gas grill and grill tools provided. The VERY PRIVATE OUTSIDE DECK has seating and dining table, a newer gas grill and Lake and mountain views. It's all here, all you have to do is show up. OUTDOOR RECREATION: Lake Junaluska (on-site access), Cataloochee Ski Area (10 miles), Family snow tubing (6 miles) Little Sam Knob hiking Trail Head (17.1 miles), Shining Rock Trail Head (22.0 miles), fun Sliding Rock, Waterfall Highway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pisgah National Forest are all nearby. THINGS TO DO: 18 hole Lake Junaluska Golf Course, Maggie Valley Snow tubing, Horseback riding, Wheels Through Time and Motorcycle Museum (6.2 miles), Blue Ridge Parkway (11.0 miles), Cherokee (23.5 miles), The North Carolina Arboretum (28.8 miles), Biltmore Estate (31.8 miles), Great Smoky Mountains Railroad (38.0 miles) Asheville, NC (28 miles) and artsy Waynesville just a just 5 minute drive. The apartment is lovely! Walking distance to the lake. The town is still close to Asheville and the mountains. It was a bit drafty in winter, but the heat works well so we weren’t cold. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect! The check in process is very easy and the agent was always available if I had any questions. There is a beautiful view of the lake. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. I recommend this house to anyone.

I was struck by how clean and cozy this apartment is. Great kitchen space with everything anyone could need for any cooking adventure. The bed was very comfy as were all the spaces. Any time I asked for information, the host was quick to respond. And the bonus was a lovely neighborhood for walks where everyone greeted me with friendliness. And a short walk to the lake for more robust workouts. So glad I got to stay here.

We visited the NC mountains to go to Berm Park mountain bike park. This place was close to the park and other attractions. We play golf and also went fishing! The house is clean and comfortable. Larry provided lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Thank you!!

We had a great time. It’s was a awesome get away. The house was prefect for the boys we had a room and they had a room. You could see the lake and it’s a great place to get a good run in. We can’t wait to go back.

The apartment was fully furnished, even coffee and salt and pepper. It was very clean with nice decor. Nestled next to the woods, could see the mist rising off the lake in the morning thru the trees from the deck, which we also liked the torches in the evening, a nice touch. Larry kept me updated prior to the visit, gave good instructions about a few things. Given their friendliness he and his wife are in the right business.

My wife, 16yr old daughter and I stayed here on a quick weekend trip. Very clean and cozy. This is the basement of the homeowners so my family was not sure how that would be. It was fairly quiet and never really seemed like it was truly a basement. Has all the amenities you'll need and the homeowners was attentive and very nice when we actually met . I recommend

We used Lake Junaluska as a "home base" for a trip to Asheville, Pisgah National Forest and the Smoky Mountains. It was a great choice! The property is clean and perfect for a traveling family to have their own space and unwind at the end of a busy day. Larry gave us great information/recommendations before and during the trip and was a wonderful host. We were very busy, but this be a great stay by itself- just to enjoy the lake, walk around and eat out. If we're ever out this way again we'd be glad to go back!

The Perfect Girl’s Trip
Thank y’all so much for the perfect relaxing girls vacation! The property was better than described! The kitchen was perfect for cooking. The property itself is very close to the lake if anyone wants to walk around it! Lake Junaluska is so close to both Waynesville and Asheville that this property is a great base camp! We did one day in Waynesville and then a day in Asheville. We also drove the Blue Ridge Parkway one day…but each day we came home to paradise at Lake Junaluska! Our hosts were amazing! Thank y’all so much!
