The location was excellent for anyone who wants quiet and a leafy environment, yet close to central Stellenbosch AND the green lungs of Jan Marais Park and Jonkershoek. It's a simple room with a tiny bathroom, comfy bed, clean, private -- if you just need a base, or are coming to Stellenbosch for business, this place is perfect. And the price can't be beat. Not having parking is a little bit of a hassle (but it's in the name!), in my case because someone not associated with the property had parked directly outside, blocking me from doing so myself, and obviously the owners can't control that. Urgent (the housekeeper, he is delightful and that really is his name) was very helpful in steering me between a tree and the hedge!
A few more kitchen accessories, maybe two side-plates or cereal bowls, saucers for the cups (wasn't sure where to rest my teaspoons!) But this is hopefully constructive rather than a complaint.
