It’s an historic spot in Amsterdam and the Amstel river, very private and well equipped!
There went something wrong with the booking when I asked before booking if it was allowed to arrive by boat and park it at the jetty in the lock, but apparently that wasn’t allowed by the city harbor services. So there was all of a sudden a dispute that needed to be solved instantly where the city harbor services was very inflexible. Finally I fixed it with the hotel and they gave me a suitable solution. Thanks to Leo and Mark 🙏

De locatie is geweldig! Met een bootje naar ons eigen eilandje in de Amstelsluis varen voelde luxe. Aan alle kanten heb je uitzicht op de stad. In het huisje was het ook comfortabel, zoals een heerlijk bed, verduisterende luiken, mooie details, fijne keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt, goede douche en een boekje met informatie over alle brugwachtershuisjes.
Op de foto stond een foto van een borrelmandje, maar deze bleek na boeking achterhaald te zijn. Let er dus op dat je zelf ontbijt meeneemt, dat was ons niet helemaal duidelijk bij boeking.

Awesome location and amazing staff.
For the price, I was expecting something a lot better.
Things they could improve on.
Breakfast supplied or a mini bar, even with just soft drinks and some snacks.
New linen and towels, were very budget and discoloured. Linen ripped.
No spare blanket, I stayed 4 nights in June and it was cold. But the staff did bring one.
Amenities we're not that great. One bar of soap for the kitchen, toilet and shower.
If I was to do this again, I would hire a boat for my stay.
