We were met at the door by David, exactly at the pre-arranged time. David was great, and even carried our suitcases up the stairs - typical narrow and steep Amsterdam staircase. He had lots of information about the local area. He even came and helped us with luggage at our departure.
The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. It is exactly like the photos - maybe even better.
There is a rear balcony which was great to sit at for meals in or just relaxing.
The location is great, with a canal, cafes and good shops all within easy walking distance (as in, just round the corner). It's a vibrant area, but not at all noisy in the apartment, even with the window open. There is a tram stop 50m from the apartment which makes longer excursions so easy.
I have a calasthenics exercise regime for when I travel - I could this either in the square in the front of the house, or in the free space on the rear balcony when it was raining.
There are trestle tables in the square just at the front of the house which we used when friends came for a drink - just another very cool feature.
The kitchen has a microwave, full size fridge and freezer and is well equiped. There is no stove, and this is clearly stated in the apartment description. Something to considered for a longer stay

the property manager was very helpful from start to end. brought up our heavy luggages and responded to texts promptly and this is much appreciated from
someone who is new to this city .
