Inn Skyline Hostel

La comida y su ubicación fueron excelentes, pero lo que fue un hit es la atención brindada por Claudio, Betty y Xuxa. Me hicieron sentir como en casa y estuvieron muy pendientes de mí durante mi estadía. Si quieres conocer la zona, su cultura, gastronomía y demás actividades, ellos te podrán brindar toda la información que necesites.

The property itself is a local house with history. Very special with a nice view of the ocean. The owner and the staff are very friendly. WiFi is good. Walking distance 10-15min to Rocky Cay. 20min to San Luis.

There are a lot of room for improvements because this beautiful property can have a lot of potential to make it nice. The property needs some work and maintenance. There is no hot water for shower. The host seemed very shocked that we asked for it as they said we don’t need it. During the day it was ok to take shower with cold water but it got quite chilly at night. The toilet was super smelly at night, I don’t know why, and the door of the bathroom cannot be completely closed. I read other reviews that people were talking about food and breakfast here were good. However for us, there was nothing offered or provided. The host also didn’t have much interactions with us and most of the time we were just by ourselves. It is very far from everything, no restaurants are open after 18 o’clock nearby and it costs a lot to take a taxi every day to the city center. Basically there’s not much you can do here in the evening. We couldn’t sleep at all during the night because of the noise. The property is next to a main road and it was unlucky for us that we stayed there during the weekend, there were so many cars or scooters with super loud party music passing by till 3 am in the morning. In the end we decided to leave after two nights even though we paid for 4 nights. I know some of those above are not the entire responsibility from the owners of the property, but I just wanna to share my honest experience here so people know what to expect. Overall I think it is too expensive for what was offered here (we had to pay 30k pesos per night extra to get a room upstairs with the view, although we were the only guests during our stay). I don’t want to sound harsh but I can see with some extra work and improvements, the place can be amazing.

Claudio and betty were amazing hosts. Communication was clear and the place was beautiful, especially being able to have a drink in the evening when looking out over the ocean. Its also super close (5/10 min walk) to both san luis aswell as rocky cay beach

De road can be noisy during the day time, but it was fine by night

Betty and Claudio welcomed me very warmly. I felt like at home. First claudio came to pick me up at the Airport. They gave me some delicious bananas from the garden. There is a common kitchen to prepare food and you can take it on the upstairs terrace with the sea view. And the room is big and clean. Thanks again for everything !
