Nestled in West Beach, this lovely condo for $116 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, swimming pool and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests. The Sandpiper resort is a trip back to the beach vacations I took with my parents in the 70s. I mean this in the best way possible. 15B was a comfortable unit. It offers no fancy bells and whistles but still has everything one needs for a relaxing stay. The 3 story complex's smaller number of units (as opposed to the monstrous high rises lining the beach) translates to an uncrowded private beach, available seating at the pool and open parking which all made for an enjoyable visit. The only negative from our week here (and my reason for 2 stars for property management) was the lack of an onsite security guard to enforce the posted quiet hours of 10p-8a, as our stay coincided with a large group who consistently sang and played very loud music most nights until 11p or later. I even went outside one night to look for a security guard to complain to about the noise and none could be found.

We had the best time. The condo was beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. We loved everything about it. It was very clean and just steps away from the beach. It really is the most adorable set up with the decks. We were there with several other families and everyone really liked their units. The beach was gorgeous the week we were there. It was my favorite beach vacation, yet. Just a great experience in every way.

This was my third time vacationing at Sandpiper, and while I enjoyed my stay, I did have some issues. The unit was very nice and I would highly recommend it, the location, beach, etc. is fantastic. On the less than positive side there were people smoking EVERYWHERE, very rowdy unsupervised children at the pool multiple times, and it was a little frustrating because of that. The previous times I stayed here security seemed to have a better presence and I did not have any of these issues.

This was our 4th stay in 15B @ Sandpiper. We stay at Sandpiper every time we visit Gulf Shores. The complex is great and Bender staff is excellent. This unit could use a refresh on furniture. The living room furniture is starting to show it's age and the master King bed is as well. Other than that, great stay and very fun vacation!

We have reserved our beach vacation condo through Bender Realty for years. This year I discovered that cancellation is now handled through an insurance company with a hefty extra charge and vague guarantees. I will be looking for a vacation stay with a different policy next time.

The location of the condo was excellent and had the option of the pool or the beach. When we checked into the condo, we foiund that several dishes were dirty and some plates still had macaroni and cheese on them. Needless to say we had to wash all of the dishes to ensure they were clean. The furniture in the unit was not comfortable and very out of date. The unit seemed small for the 2 of us and I couldn't imagine having 6 people in that unit.

Great facility at a good price. The balcony configuration is good for multiple families to gather and have fun, but also have a private room. But while we were there a group of about fifteen families partied together night and day, playing loud music and making so much noise, we could not enjoy our stay. Security refused to do anything until 10:00 pm.

Have stayed at this complex before but not the same unit as the first. Disapointed in cleaning to pay 100.oo and have black in the bottom of the showers and smudges all over mirrors and dirty dishes in dishwasher and toilets had a bandaid stuck in it with a toilet ring already there is really not a great thing to see.. No I didnt call managaement because didnt feel like waiting for someone to show up While doing shopping I picked up a bottle of cleaner and just did it myself. Also Management might want to consider keeping kids on lower floors the people above us had kids running thru out there condo all night and kept waking us up. Friends in 3 other units also agreed.. Otherwise love the location of complex but will not stay in this unit again had issues with stove and refrig also

Other than two to three days of rain off and on, it was a relaxing week, and the breezes from the Gulf were great. The unit was very nice and roomy. The Bender staff were cordial and helpful. This was our first visit to Gulf Shores. We plan on coming back!

As a family, we had rented at the Sandpiper for several years as our children grew up. The family atmosphere is what always drew us back to the Sandpiper. This was our first experience at this time of year, and no regrets in returning for Thnaksgivng! Our children are grown now, but still enjoy the quiet, family environment. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The condo was updated nicely and we were very comfortable. The combination locks are so convenient, and makes check in and check out easy. There will be no hesitation in contacting Bender for renting at the Sandpiper again. Glad to be back there again!

Past stays at the Sandpiper were nearly ruined by large family reunion groups that were disrespectful, noisy and dominated the pool and the barbeque area. But mid-June was quiet and awesome. Other guests were friendly and made our stay much more enjoyable. The condo is clean and very nicely furnished and equipped. The balcony arrangement is so much better for getting together with other families than others condos where security and privacy is a priority. Perfect place if you are in a group of five or six families, as long as you are considerate of everyone else and hold the noise down.

The condo is exceptionally nice and includes all the comforts of home. The location is excellent, as we were close to great restaurants and attractions. Unfortunately, people who checked in in the middle of the night decided to party from 3-5 am and continued to be narcissistically loud wherever they were...on their deck area and at the pool. People who checked in above our unit (15b) stayed up all night and stomped around as though they were pacing and dragging things from room to room. It was bizarre!

This was the second time staying at the Sandpiper, but the first time in 15B. The complex was very clean and well maintained. The unit had been recently renovated with new stainless steel appliances, paint, tile flooring, and an ample supply of pots, pans, dishes, flatware, etc. The unit was one of the closest to the beach and just above the pool. I definitely recommend this unit as well as the Sandpiper, which was conveniently located to shopping and restaurants.

We go every year with five other families and like the size and scale of the Sandpiper with its proximity to the beach, but the Potter reunion makes it impossible to get near the pool or bar-b-q area. They take over the place and are so loud, you can't enjoy your stay. Never go in mid-July.

We had a great time, the condo was updated with beautiful furnishings. The pool is right outside your door and the beach is steps away. The views of the beach are awesome from the balcony. The only complaint we had was the mattresses in the condo are very worn out. I slept in every bed in the place and was miserable when I woke up. We all wound up taking turns sleeping on the sofa because it was way better than the beds. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and will return.
