If you are visiting Gig Harbor, this is the place to stay! Paul and Jan were very welcoming and the room was perfect. 100% recommend! Clean! Beautiful! Safe! Incredible location! They went above and beyond in every way! From greeting us upon arrival to the amazing homemade cookies. Just wow! For sure we will stay again! Our family lived in Gig Harbor for 8 years and recently moved to California. This house has always been a favorite when walking downtown. What an incredible way to come back to place we used to call home. It was so nice to visit and stay here. My son and I had the best time. I highly recommend this guesthouse! Thanks again!!!

This is our second time staying at this property, and it was just as amazing as the first time 4 years ago. Flawless check-in process, great assortment of breakfast items, and we loved the proximity to amazing restaurants. We’ll be back next year!

My husband and I just spent the week staying in Gig Harbor at the Harbor House. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Paul and Jan were the most kind and thoughtful hosts. The Harbor House is everything as advertised and more. It was our true home away from home while we were in WA. Our flight arrived late at night, and we were met with a delicious charcuterie board, homemade cookies, wine, the fireplace going and some music on. They even had breakfast essentials stocked for us so that we would be all set in the morning. The apartment was clean and had all the necessary amenities for the week. It's also in a great location in Gig Harbor. The entire main street and most restaurants are walkable from the house. Any stores for essentials are less than 10 minutes away. We spent a lot of time hiking at Mt. Rainier & Olympic National Park, and we felt like we were in a good central location for each. They provided brochures that included all nearby restaurants with a little blurb about each, and one for attractions/parks/beaches nearby as well. The communication from Paul was fast & everything from booking through check out was a smooth, easy process. We can't wait to visit the Harbor House for another stay in the future!

What a sweet spot! The location is just perfect for taking in all that Gig Harbor has to offer. Paul and Jan are the best! We felt welcomed the minute we arrived. Our accommodations were beautifully appointed and the decor reflected the charm of Harbor living It was a busy time of celebrations and summer activities. We loved coming “home” to our cozy retreat. This place is so beautiful. The location is central to everything, access to paddle boarding / kayaking on the bay, walking distance to restaurants and shops. We stayed in and made a simple dinner on the cook top one night to enjoy the great views. The immaculate garden spaces with fountains onsite were also a treat. The shower was big and water pressure was great! Just a nice change from the ordinary travel experience. The hosts have added thoughtful touches throughout the space that make it very charming and relaxing. The hosts were very accommodating with our arrival and our checkout times which we were very grateful for! Thank you for a wonderful anniversary getaway!

When reading product reviews, I often see frustrated consumers complain that they are frustrated they cannot award zero stars and must award one as the lowest possible rating. Our experience at Harbor House was the complete opposite - I wish we could award 6 stars. Paul and Jan are superstar hosts with a beautiful, perfectly appointed property that has every amenity you could want. Stay at Harbor House and you, too, will be wishing you could award 6 stars.

Everything was great, the place, the location, the hosts. We loved it and have already booked our return trip. We highly recommend staying here as a great dog friendly and easy location to tour around Gig Harbor. And we have to say, Paul and Jan were the best hosts!

Paul and Jan were wonderful hosts, and the carriage house was perfect for us. The accommodations were clean and cozy. We loved the fireplace. The amenities were great...they provided milk, orange juice, tonic water...and the wine an cookies were amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

We had just a wonderful time renting this VRBO. The owner does a great job with follow up, the property is “top shelf” and the location is the best you can get when you are visiting Gig Harbor. If you are looking for a one bedroom this is as good as it gets. It is an easy walk to everywhere downtown in Gig Harbor from here and the dog walks are special right along the waterfront.

Hubs and I enjoyed the perfect long weekend at this property in Gig Harbor, WA. The location is fantastic on the main harbor view drive and in walking distance to everything we wanted. From the personal fireplace to the Martha Stewart quality courtyard, we were extremely comfortable and enjoyed quiet beautiful evenings. Loved the decor and perfectly appointed kitchen, bath, living and bedroom. Private entrance and parking!! We will be back!! ♥️🙌🏻

This is a great property. One of my favorites. Gig Harbor is a great location for food, drink and views. And property is harbor front -- one minute walk to the nearest docks. First 10 minutes, we saw a harbor seal and a jelly fish within 30 feet. Mount Rainier is visible when the clouds cooperate. Easy drive to Olympic National Park. Good restaurants within walking distance. Property was immaculate; landscaping and gardens superb. Owner is super, providing snacks, breakfast cereal, water, milk, soda and wine. Easy 25 minutes to Chambers Bay Golf Course.
