This well equipped and comfortable property was perfect for a family get-together. The hot tub was a great bonus too. The location is close to a nature reserve and local cafe just outside a village. The local pub offered a warm and friendly welcome and a very good Sunday lunch. We would have been happier to stay for a longer visit and would return if in the area again

We visited Woodlands as a couple and so didn't use or need all the rooms.

We visited Woodlands as a couple and so didn't use or need all the rooms. Its a nice place, very clean, an abundance of towels, good facilities, easy to find (always a plus), lovely high ceiling and windows in living area. Lovely covered hot tub, although it takes away the huge view across the country from the tub. The local birds ate about 6" of food from the feeders every day! VG to see the bucket of bird food in the larder which we used to refill the feeders 3 times in 5 days. Perhaps too much furniture in main upstairs bedroom? A couple of things didn't seam to work; sensor light at top of stairs, extractor fan in upstairs WC, main lights in garden to Hot Tub and in the Hot Tub covered area. Nothing too serious but perhaps could be sorted. Surprised that there was no kitchen smoke detector or extractor fan? The red chairs in the living room are a bit of an eyesore unfortunately in such a lovely room. Great area for country walks with easy and immediate access from Woodlands. We didn't use the local facilities so cant really comment objectively - but they looked nice =0) Google maps showed a much better route to and from Woodlands than my old in-car SatNav - the latter took us down some challenging and interesting roads.
