About this condo rental
Nestled in Gatlinburg, this attractive condo for $110 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Please read the information on our unit carefully!! Come visit our remodeled unit. Queen bed on main level and full bed in loft bedroom that children love! Our unit is on the 3rd floor and there is NO elevator. Please note if there are mobility issues. Please keep that in mind when booking. Fully equipped kitchen. Relax in outdoor pool during summer. Unfortunately the indoor pool and hot tubs are closed temporarily until the building they are in can be repaired. The Summitt condos are located in the Chalet Village area near the top of Ski Mountain and they offer panoramic mountain views. Be aware that bears often cross the roads so drive carefully. The road is winding and steep to get to the complex so be alert as you navigate them. We are located at the top of the mountain. Please realize this! Once you get to the complex there is plenty of parking This resort is located high in the mountains but conveniently located to Ober Gatlinburg ( 1.5 miles ), downtown Gatlinburg (3 miles ), and the National Park Entrance. You will find plenty of activities for the whole family! Hiking, shopping, miniature golf, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, and of course fine dining are awaiting you. Be sure to check out Pigeon Forge and Dollywood located only few miles away. Whether you curl up by the wood burning fireplace (wood available for purchase from office), or take in the sites around town, you will find yourself wanting to return time and time again! There is an iron and ironing board for your use. Housekeeping supplies you with towels, linens ,(starter) roll of toilet paper, roll paper towels, soap, and a trash bag. The resort provides you with a coin operated Laundromat that is located in the office building, a short walk away from the unit. The resort also has 2 gas grills (gas provided), along with 2 picnic tables, for your outdoor cooking and eating.

I can’t comment at all about the property as we never saw it. We had no experience with mountain driving and decided to abandon our rental because the roads were so steep, narrow and winding. Although it is mentioned in the listing unless you’re experienced with mountain driving it is pretty frightening. We couldn’t see the road over the hood of the car in a couple of spots and just didn’t feel safe trying to get all the way to the rental. The owner seems nice.

The drive to the chalet is exactly as described, at the top of the mountain. My husband and I enjoyed the drive up, very scenic especially with all the snow! Perfect for a small family of four. The upstairs did get a bit stuffy I would recommend a fan for someone who gets warm often (my husband), I did not mind, I prefer it warm. Wonderful stay and Debra was super helpful and answered my calls/texts immediately. My husband is already planning out next trip! Wonderful stay.

The listing description is very accurate for this property. It is small (as mentioned), but was perfect for my son & I. The loft & spiral staircase were a unique feature that my son loved.
Take heed to the owner’s warning of no elevator. As an overpacker, I felt the burn of the stairs! The property offers an “off the beaten path” experience and was a quiet, peaceful place to stay.

The property was decent and served it's purpose. I had hoped that there would be a view of the mountains from the patio, but not so lucky. I would suggest adding a pic from the balcony, so renters know what the view is. The view is a treeline behind the complex. There weren't any towels laid out for us and had to search for them. The shower head definitely needs replaced, as it was squirting water over the top rail. There seemed to be a beehive behind the outside balcony light. The bees were traveling in and out from behind the light during warmer temps. We were out and about sightseeing mostly and used the place for sleeping and getting ready. We still had a good trip.

The property was absolutely perfect for my fiancé and I to use as a “base camp” We used it as a place to relax in the evenings after we got done exploring Gatlinburg, the park and Dollywood. Would absolutely stay there again

This Condo is small, but worked efficiently for us. We were busy away from the room seeing local sights, therefore we never even saw the pool or other amenities. We did see a black bear at the dumpster, which needs a good clean-up and repair. Overall, it worked for us.

So when we got to the condo there wasn’t any indoor pool like was advertised nothing in the advertisement said it was under construction. It showed MT. View and we had tree view couldn’t see over them, the place wasn’t clean. Their was a cockroach in the upstairs bedroom which I took a pic of I called the property owner and requested I get my money back and she refused. I booked for 6 nights we stayed 1 night and then got a hotel for the rest of our stay which was amazing. I never got my deposit back for when I checked out. The owner of this property didn’t take any of my concerns serious and basically laughed on the phone when I spoke with her. I would not recommend this place for anyone who is wanted to rent from her.

The upstairs area was a little warm (I recommend bringing a small fan of you have one), but luckily the two who slept up stairs prefer to be warm when they sleep. The a/c downstairs worked super well!!! The only other thing I’d change would be the shower head…still functional, but lots of little leaks and water going every which way. Got to watch sunset over the mountains each night. It was a very quiet stay which i LOVED! My Morning walk was fun and great views. Owner has outstanding communication. I had questions and she instantly called. She even laughed and answered with a smile in her voice when i called with a dumb question. She was the type person who should be in the office to greet people. My biggest complaint would be the office lady and didnt see a bear but I would definitely stay again.

AMAZING GETAWAY!

The condo was very cozy very clean and very close to entertainment. When we had cabling issues the Owners were very attentive. And were about 8 to 10 minutes to Gatlinburg and about 15 minutes a pigeon Forge. We had a great time at parrot mountain and the petting zoo. We also walked Gatlinburg twice and went to the smoky mountain trails. But it was a little tight for me in the kitchen and the living space. My husband and I wanted to have a romantic week, but we weren’t able to have that due to the lack of privacy. Because the bed in the loft is right over the bed downstairs. We tried sleeping upstairs but the bed was way too small for two adults. But it fit my 11 year old perfectly. Also the pool indoors and the hot tub’s were very nice to have conveniently close. We were also able to use the laundry room too. If I go back it would just be the two of us just too small for three people at least for us.
