The location is perfect, just a few steps from the main street in Lefkada Town. The building itself is old but beautiful and well maintained. The AC worked perfectly when the windows were closed, and the Wi-Fi was fine.
I also noticed that the cleaning ladies work hard to maintain the apartments. However, they do not speak or understand English at all, which makes communication difficult. Perhaps having a few more staff members would help ensure the apartments can be cleaned and maintained more thoroughly.
I was disappointed with Apartment No. 5 in the second floor, especially considering the €220 per night price and the high expectations.
The bed was not a double bed but two single beds, resulting in the worst sleep of our vacation in years. I also found hairs from previous guests under the sheets, which is unacceptable.
The bathroom was the biggest disappointment: extremely small, with a dirty shower curtain. For €220 per night, this is simply not acceptable.
I also found the Booking.com photos misleading, especially the jacuzzi. We never saw it open or available during our stay, so I strongly suggest removing it as the main photo.
Overall, the apartment was far below what we expected for the price.
