Casa Sophia was an absolutely wonderful place to stay in Siena. The location is unbeatable — right in the very heart of the city, with everything within easy walking distance, yet the apartment itself is wonderfully quiet and peaceful.
The apartment was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can truly feel the care and attention to detail that goes into making guests feel at home.
Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and thoughtful. Giacomo went above and beyond to make our stay special, even giving us a lovely gift and allowing us to keep the apartment for the entire day after check-out, although we were originally supposed to leave at 11:00. He studied in Romania - Tirgu Mures, love Romania so much so he felt tondo this for Romanian people. This thoughtful gesture made such a difference and was deeply appreciated.
We wholeheartedly recommend Casa Sophia to anyone visiting Siena. If you are looking for a central, comfortable, peaceful, and authentic place to stay, this is the perfect choice. Staying here truly made our experience of Siena feel authentic, warm, and genuinely Italian.
We would absolutely stay at Casa Sophia again!

Cet appartement est idéalement placé à quelques centaines de mètres des plus beaux sites patrimoniaux de Sienne. Dans une ancienne maison à plusieurs niveaux, l’appartement est très calme, frais et avec une très jolie vue depuis la chambre vers la vieille ville.

The property was the cleanest we have ever hired. The host, Giacomo was exceptional and attended to all our needs. The property is located a stone's throw from the Duomo. The building itself dates back to the early 1600 and related to the Duomo itself. All expected facilities were included with two TV sets and air-conditioning though the apartment itself is very cool with a view of St Domenico St Catherine of Siena from the bedroom window.
