Jordan Hotel

This was a good location for my conference at Sunday River. The facility still seems new, and all the systems--wifi, plumbing, TV, bed/sheets/pillows, tables, etc--were in great shape. Interestingly, my studio room came with kitchen. The surrounding area is beautiful, by the way. I saw family of seven deer cross the road near the hotel.

The pool looked nice, but now that it's fall the outside temperature was too low to go for a swim.

We were delighted with the very warm and friendly staff. Nothing was too much to ask of them. Outdoor "campfire" complete with marshmallows to roast was one of many special touches. The pool and hot tubs were great, as well as the sauna and steam room. The fitness equipment was clean. I enjoyed a massage at the Spa with Birch. We'd like to mention staff that really stood out in the field of hospitality: Eli, Delaney and Autumn at the front desk could not have been more helpful with suggestions and directions to key spots. Housekeeping standouts were Laurie and Benedict who were very personable and genuine in their desire for our stay to be gold standard which it was. Finally the restaurant at the Golf Club just a short drive away was fantastic.

We couldn't stay longer.

We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel, but went to the golf club down the road…which had great food, but just not a very big menu. We wished you had a restaurant in the hotel.

The Mountain View’s in autumn were spectacular. It’s a charming looking ski resort lodge building. My massage was great.

Our double queen room was not well equipped. No chair to sit on and no outlets available to recharge devices. The balcony had debris all over it. There was a dirty glass on a window sill in hallway the entire time we were there. The spa is not Ceylon spa like—have to walk down a hall, then through fitness room to a small, open locker room to change. We checked in on Sunday. No restaurant for lunch or dinner. How is that a resort? Had to get right back in our car—twice! We’re not told about breakfast in dining room next day. Not restful.
