About this house rental
Nestled in Bolton Landing, this charming house for $700 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This 2,240 square foot home is new, updated with an open concept, and is open year round with central air, heat, and a wood burning fireplace. It sleeps 10+ people comfortably with 4 bedrooms, bunk area and 2.5 baths. Our home has a modern equipped kitchen, dining room with seating and serving for 12, large family tv room, and living room with a 55” flat screen smart tv (Netflix & HBO GO capabilities). All four bedrooms come with brand new queen-size memory foam mattresses. The master bedroom includes a flat screen tv and has a master bath with dual sinks. Also included is an outdoor firepit, grill, and table that seats 12 on the elevated deck off the dining room. The home includes complimentary wi-fi. All linens, pillows, bath towels, and paper products provided. Two large comfy couches in the TV room can be used as an extra sleeping area, if needed. A premium air mattress is also provided for any extra sleeping needs. Included amenities are toaster oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, childproof gate, pack and play, and fenced in yard, which makes it convenient when letting your pup outside. The home is located in a family-friendly association. Included is dedicated parking spaces with easy access to the private association beach (300ft walk to beach), this parking is only provided for our renters, so you don’t have to walk up and down the hill! The sand bottom beach includes lounge chairs, a brand new playground, bbq grills, volleyball court, and a fire pit for those nice summer nights under the stars! (Best beach in Bolton Landing!) We are close to great restaurants, marinas, antique gift shops, grocery stores, liquor stores, winery, brewery, ski resorts, the historic Sagamore Hotel, and Six Flags Great Escape Park *Please bring your own beach towels and fishing poles. Our home is now available in the winter for skiing and snowmobiling. Gore mountain is only 30 minutes away. West Mountain is nearby. Lake Placid is approximately 1 hour away. Our home is available for all 4 seasons with a 3 night minimum on off peak season dates. Pets will be considered with an addition charge for each pet. Refundable Security deposit Minimum renter age required (25 years of age) Cleaning fee not included NO SMOKING INSIDE PREMISES! (*House is approximately 1/3 mile to beach, down private association road.. House was perfect size for our group (3 families with 5 kids under 5). Separate living room areas allowed adults and children to enjoy at the same time. Association beach was great for the kids! Owners were very helpful!

We found the place easily and had a seamless check in. Any questions were answered immediately. We found the place more than spacious for our family which included my husband and I, 4 young adult kiddos and 2 fur babies. The fenced in backyard was a great place for them to stretch their legs. Beds were definitely comfy, could use some updating on the bedding but not a big deal. Being a cabin it fit the feel of the place. As some have said the kitchen could use some updating in terms of pots and pans but we were able to create a tasty Thanksgiving dinner by adding a few disposable trays from the local grocery which is only a few miles down the road. All in all we had a great time, took some nice walks to the lake each day, and would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a large family. It would be a great place to enjoy the summer. We thank the family again for letting us enjoy their place and even letting us hang out a little longer while we waited out our flight. We appreciate the kindness.

My family and I had a wonderful time here. The cabin is very well taken care of and clean. The owners couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful and gave us great recommendations. We love the location of the neighborhood because it’s close to the town of Bolton Landing and also close to highway access for our excursions.

We had a lovely vacation with family and friends. The house is quite large and suitable for 2 families to stay. There are ample supplies and basics in the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and outdoor space.
The beach access is quite far away to lug all our stuff but very nice space overall with playground, sandy areas for kids to play and picnic area. Note it is located in association so people may be asking about your stay.
Beds could be improved as not as listed. Otherwise plenty of linens.
Solid stay but some improvements could be helpful for future visitors!

The house was perfect for our larger group (7 adults, 2 kids and a dog). We all had our own rooms and beds and it was so nice to have a patio, deck, and big fenced in yard. And being just a couple minute drive away from the town of Bolton is so nice.
Bill and Janet were responsive, helpful, and very welcoming!
Having lake access was wonderful but we did need to drive almost half a mile to park and then walk down a hill about 200 feet to get to the lake beach. And dogs are not allowed on the beach.
Overall it is a fantastic house with everything you need for a great vacation and the whole process was very easy!

Beautiful house, helpful owner!
We had a wonderful time at Bill's place! It was gorgeous, and he and his wife were incredibly helpful at helping us check-in, as well as giving us suggestions as to what to do while we were in Bolton Landing. The private beach was perfect for our family, and also included some games (ping pong, badminton) and a playground for the little ones. Would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful home in Bolton Landing!
We loved our stay in Bolton Landing. The Nutlands were very welcoming and provided great recommendations on things to do and places to eat while on our vacation. The spacious home was exactly as described and came with plenty of towels, fresh bed linens and kitchen utensils to make it a seamless stay. The beach was very private and allowed us to enjoy the lake. If we could provide any feedback, it would be to ask the homeowners to provide a kayak or canoe for their guests to use as the beach has a beautiful dock and space to do so. Otherwise, this is absolutely worth your value for a family vacation in Bolton Landing!

Family Vacation
We had a lovely time and there was plenty of room at the house. Beach access was a little more difficult than we thought it would be (only because of all the gear we brought). Bill and Janet were wonderful and very accommodating.

Perfect Getaway
We had a wonderful stay. This property was clean, close to town, and pet friendly. There was lots of space for friends and family to gather for a nice meal on the deck and some delicious smores around the fire pit in the backyard. The owners were attentive and available if we needed anything at all. We were very happy :)

The pictures don't do it justice - the house is beautiful, homey and comfortable - far enough away to have privacy but close enough to town and the marinas. We were three families (3 couples and 2 pre-teens) and there was plenty of space for everyone. There was a great fenced in backyard for our two small dogs and an outdoor patio space that we enjoyed. Bill and Janet were wonderful hosts and very helpful with any questions and recommendations. We would definitely stay again!

The interior of the house is spacious allowing room to spread out when needed, and had plenty of seating for a large group to all dine together, inside or out on the covered 2 story deck. The bed situation was just what we needed with all bedrooms having queen beds. There is also bunk bed tucked against the wall in the common area on the lower.
The kitchen was very nice with gas stove, and all you'll need for cooking and serving your meals. I appreciated the keurig machine. I brought my favorite coffee from home, and it was nice to wake up in the morning and enjoy my coffee out on the screened in room off the master bedroom.
Furniture in this home was all very nice, and comfortable. Nothing in was beat up or run down. I also appreciated that the entire home was actually thoughtfully decorated. I couldn't help but notice the wall decor throughout the home. A nice touch for a rental property.
Bathrooms were very nice. Plenty of counter space, and places to stow all your essentials. Shower stall in master is plenty large. And I must give high marks for the towels! I've stayed at a handful of rentals in the past, two others in Lake George. Never have we had such thoughtfulness and consideration from a host. All white clean, crisp towel sets were laid out for all guests on all beds. With extra sets in the home. These were basic, lightweight towels just what I happen to prefer. So much so, I ordered myself the same Amazon Basics for my home.
We had our two dogs with us so having the fenced yard was fantastic.
We stayed for 5 nights just prior to Memorial Day weekend. Luckily, we had pretty nice weather for our stay, but too early in the season to swim. We visited the private beach on a couple of occasions. Initially, we had a bit of difficulty locating it. No signage (private community, they all know where their beach is). What looked like it could be a private blacktop walkway heading behind some homes is the path to this lovely little beach area. Bill and Janet have two kayaks for use on a rack on the beach which we used and enjoyed. Take your car down for sure! It's steep and a ways down the winding hill. We rented a pontoon boat from Captain Bob's just down the road. We also went to Lake George Village a couple times, 15-20 min drive.

Perfect house for the perfect getaway!
We are already planning our trip for next summer. This was the perfect house and I would highly recommend to everyone. We learned quickly that in Lake George, access to a beach is nearly impossible, let alone a private one and the beach access here was incredible; the beach was pristine and a short walk from the private parking space. Better yet, it wasn't busy at all and there was always enough space to be socially distant. The stars at night were out of this world too! The house upon arrival was immaculate which is especially important amid COVID - we all felt safe and at home. We made great use out of the deck and the fire pit. Couldn't believe how perfect the weather was (nice reprieve from the city mugginess) and how low bug it was (we were expecting to get eaten alive at night!). The large fenced in yard was amazing for our pups - that alone made the entire trip that much more enjoyable! Thanks to William and Janet for being such amazing hosts.

A Wonderful Week
My family recently rented Mr. and Mrs. Nutland's Bolton Landing property. We were a group of 7 adults, 2 children (ages 12 and 10), and one dog. From initial inquiries to our final goodbye, speaking with Mr. and Mrs. Nutland was an absolute pleasure. All communications and questions regarding this property were informative and answered promptly. Upon our arrival, we were met by this lovely couple, who took the time out of their day to greet us and show us around their home. It was immaculate and well-stocked with supplies. My family has stayed at a number of rental properties and we have never experienced the thoughtfulness of all the available items the Nutlands keep on hand for their guests. There was plenty of space for our entire group and our favorite feature in the home is the wonderful table where all of us sat together to enjoy meals and nightly games. We were able to set up our cornhole boards in the back, use the barbeque and fire pit, and keep our dog in a fenced-in yard. If you are looking for some exercise during your stay, you can walk to the lake, but most of our group opted to drive a car to available parking and take the easier and shorter walk. There were plenty of lounge chairs available to relax on the beach and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. My family had a wonderful week away and we highly recommend that if you are looking to spend time in a fabulous home, do not hesitate to book this property!

This was the perfect home for our family. We had plenty of room for six adults and two children. The home was clean and spacious. The owners were pleasant and accommodating. The fenced in yard was great for the kids and the dog. The beach and playground was a daily visit. Close proximity to downtown Bolton Landing and highway. Can’t wait to go back!
