Beautiful second floor apartment with stunning sea, harbour and country views, this luxurious and contemporary apartment is located at the heart of West Bay. Its large wrap-around balcony allows beautiful views of the Jurassic Coast.
Modern fixtures and fittings throughout the property. A well-equipped contemporary kitchen leads to a generous, modern lounge area with bed sofas.
The beautifully decorated master bedroom has a modern en suite. The second bedroom has twin beds. Both rooms have views of the beach, harbour and nearby cliffs. A modern bathroom leads off the hallway.
The property benefits from excellent storage and domestic facilities including a utility cupboard with laundry facilities.
From the living area, glass doors lead out onto a wrap around balcony which is the optimal place to enjoy the views. The property benefits from an allocated space in the underground car park, from which a lift gives access to all floors.
This luxury apartment is situated in an idyllic waterside position in West Bay, setting for the popular TV Series Broadchurch, at the heart of the World Heritage Site Jurassic Coast. West Bay has two beaches, a harbour and a range of shops including a general store and a well renowned fishmonger. There are a number of cafes, pubs and restaurants. Approximately a mile to the north is the vibrant market town of Bridport which has a twice weekly market and offers a range of shops and services including restaurants, a cinema and leisure centre, supermarkets and museum.

Exceptional views of the Jurassic Coast. The accommodation is extremely well equipped. We had a most enjoyable stay and hope we will have the opportunity to return.

This property is modern and clean and calm with airy beachside decor. Furnishings had a bit of a luxurious feel. Black out curtains in the bedrooms were very successful regarding morning sun. We enjoyed the space very much. Nice to recline and enjoy the views and waves. Or have a cuppa on the balcony. The building was modern and clean with secure entries, and locals are friendly. We don’t think a better view could be had just about anywhere. With cliffs to the left and right and a view of both piers out front. Sunset was gorgeous and walks from there very convenient either direction. We hope to return again. The property is street and harbor front. We enjoyed all of the activity from our balcony.

I paid what I thought was a premium price for a luxury 4 night stay. Unfortunately the stay was marred by a series of frustrations and these began with the Vrbo web site that I had trouble negotiating. I wanted to ask the property owner/manager a question but either my email did not get through or it was ignored. I had to download the Vrbo app before I could find the instructions on locating the apartment.
The property is well furnished and situated overlooking the sea and harbour. It is, however, let down by details of maintenance and functioning. I shall list some of these ‘niggles’.
Induction hob - no instructions and maybe two rings not working.
Lounge curtains stick when closing - sand and wax pole.
Double bedroom windows don’t close properly.
Rubber seal on twin room window has detached.
French door in lounge needs much strength to close.
All windows/door need maintenance
Curtains in double room way too thin and let light in.
Kitchen tap has a constant drip.
Water was heard and seen coming from apartment/roof above and hitting bedroom window from time to time.
Constant noise coming from boiler cupboard. Contact with manager did not resolve this. We eventually found a switch at ceiling height in the cupboard labelled ‘fan’ and switched this off.
We offered to supply this ‘snagging list’ to the manager but was told there was no need as they sometimes stay in the apartment and will find any problems. Well they didn’t before we stayed! Disappointed with response.
