Merricks Cottage is situated on a quiet country lane nestled in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula. Only an hours drive from Melbourne, Merricks Cottage offers an idyllic escape from the city to enjoy a taste of Mornington Peninsula life.
The perfect weekend getaway, whether you’re seeking a relaxing romantic break, an outdoors adventure or a weekend of indulgence discovering the local produce.
Everything is at your fingertips, beautiful beaches, wineries, walks, markets, restaurants - there is so much to enjoy. Our neighbours, Merricks General Wine Store and Stonier Wines are only a 2-minute walk down the lane.
Pampered pooches are welcome. All requests will be considered on application. Pets must be house trained, they are not allowed on bedding or furniture and must be supervised. Pet stay - $50 (per pet)
Merricks Cottage has 2 bedrooms and comfortably accommodates up to 5 adults.
Please note, nightly cost is based on 2 adults sharing master bedroom.

Merricks Cottage felt like a wonderful trip down memory lane! Fresh flowers and special treats for adults and our Sheltie Sasha were thoughtfully laid out for our arrival. The master bed was incredibly comfortable and the cottage kitchen provided everything we needed for a relaxing Easter weekend. Waking to the sound of birdsong instead of the hum of Melbourne traffic was delightful! Our host was lovely to communicate with during the booking process. The property is securely fenced, so even the smallest furry family member can safely enjoy Merricks Cottage. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We had a fantastic stay at Merricks Cottage with our dog Sammy. It was simply perfect. Lots of lovely little touches from the host, including some welcome treats for humans and dogs!We would highly recommend a stay here. The cottage and gardens were immaculate, so full of character and clearly a lot of love has gone in to creating the perfect place for guests to enjoy, year round. The location is hard to beat - walking distance Merricks General Store and Stonier winery and a short drive to many beaches, yet the cottage is so relaxing you feel a million miles away from day to day life. We stayed during a heatwave and the aircon was very good. We will be back!

A perfect weekend getaway location. We specifically chose this gorgeous cottage for its proximity to the Merricks Store where we attended a wedding. It was as close as you can get, in easy walking distance. We were delighted with the cottage- it was cosy and warm (on a cold weekend). Lynda was very welcoming and responsive. The bed was extremely comfortable and all facilities were excellent. It is a great place for a girls weekend, with two lovely bedrooms.
