About this apartment rental
In the conservation area on the north side of Lake Chiemsee, this tastefully furnished, renovated apartment is 2017. It is part of a large country house, but concluded from this. The apartment is reached via a separate staircase. To the 65m ² apartment includes a living room with integrated kitchen and sofa bed (about 30m) ², a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom and two balconies. From the covered balcony you have a fantastic view of the lake and the underlying Chiemgau Alps. The lake is just below the property and is on foot or to reach dirt roads. The nearest swimming area is 5 minutes away on foot. The nearest village Gstadt in a port of the boats of the Chiemsee shipping store is within walking distance in 10 minutes. There you can rent electric, rowing and sailing boats, take windsurfing lessons or visit the bathhouse.
Varied shopping facilities and an attractive cultural program are offered at the thriving spa town of Prien, 12 km away.
Around the Bavarian Sea and the Alps you can expect a variety of sports, leisure and cultural activities. For example, with the Royal Palace Herrenchiemsee, the idyllic Fraueninsel and much more.

The owner is very kind and helpful, the apt is very a cute farmhouse apartment that is above and next to the owner. There is no dryer so the towels are crispy and the pillows are almost nonexistent. The beds are very hard. The kitchen is well appointed and the view of the lake is great (when they are not smoking below) and in spite of the beds we really enjoyed our stay there!

Sehr ruhige Lage mit tollem Blick auf den Chiemsee.
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub . Die FeWo hat eine sehr ruhige Lage mit einem tollen Blick über den Chiemsee, besonders auf die Fraueninsel.

Der Zustand der Wohnung entsprach nicht dem Preis:
1. Angegeben waren 2 Balkone. Der eine Balkon am Aufgang zur Wohnung bestand nur aus einer kleinen Sitzbank. Die Aussicht vom anderen Balkon war zwar schön, aber auch nur mit 2 ungemütlichen Stühlen und einem Tisch versehen. Auf beiden Balkonen keine Sonne.
2. Das Mobiliar im Wohn-Esszimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen.Die Polsterung der Sessel war durchgesessen, das Sofa sehr unbequem.
Die Küchenzeile war gut und reichlich ausgestattet, das warme Wasser kam aber erst nach 3 Minuten.
3. Das Badezimmer versprühte den Charme der 60ger Jahre. Auch hier kam das warme Wasser sehr spät und reichte kaum für 2 Duschen.
4. Das Schlafzimmer ist vom Zuschnitt sehr ungünstig: Stellte man das Bett in die Mitte , um es von beiden Seiten nutzen zu können, konnte man die Tür nicht mehr richtig öffnen, da es mit dem Fußende kollidierte.
Das Haus liegt zwar sehr schön, der angegebene Fußweg zum Ort beträgt aber mindestens 15-20 Minuten und nicht wie angegeben 10Minuten.
Wir würden die Wohnung nie wieder nehmen, der Preis lässt sich auch nicht mit dem Ausblick auf den Chiemsee rechtfertigen.
Hinzukommt, dass es nicht möglich war, auf keinem der Balkone mal die Sonne zu genießen , da weder die Gartennutzung noch der Hof benutzt werden durfte
