I was one of 5 sharing this villa. It's a lovely home with lots of rooms. The lounge was smaller than expected as was the kitchen, which is also quite dark, but given that we spent most of our break outside, these are minor details. The terraces and views are stunning. All beds were comfortable, and the property overall was clean and well equipped. The only thing I would comment on is that we didn't expect to walk with our suitcases through the main street, and the numerous steps up to the villa came as a surprise. Definitely not for the unfit! Having said this, we loved this villa, Cavtat is beautiful and we'll definitely return to both.

Our family really enjoyed our recent stay. The property is exactly as photographed. The terraces provided a great space for all the family to enjoy meals with fantastic views...to die for! It was also a really peaceful area Location was very central, however such a view comes at a price in that you have to negotiate many steps to arrive at the property, therefore not perhaps suitable for everyone. It kept us fit! Internally, stairs to top floor could be difficult with younger children as no real handrail or balustrade; it is more suitable for adults and older children. We realised this prior to booking from the photographs and warned our teenagers to take care. The kitchen was well equipped for our party of ten. Initially we were short of sheets but phoned Marko who appeared with extra sheets within 20 minutes. he was very easy to contact and helpful; a very pleasant young man. He was also able to provide transport to and from the airport at reasonable rates and was very helpful with the cases up the steps...thank you Marko.

The villa was great, spacious with great views on the sea and moutains and exceeded our expectations. We spent the week with 6 adult and 2 kids. Our host Nikomina was outstunning and very helpful. We got a handy list of place to go and eat. The local shops and beaches were walking distance. Also great was the jeep safari which starts in Cavtat. Dubrovnik, which is a beautiful and historic place, nice to spend a day. But at the end we where happy the get back with the boat taxi to Cavtat. Which is nice to spend the evening drinking wine or beer and eating icecream. Marko and Nikolina where excellent host. Communication is going quick and you may ask everything. Thanks again for a great holiday. We can recommend this villa.

We had a week to spend between the Black Mountains in Montenegro and Cavtat in Croatia and we somehow managed to book two of the best properties available - we do travel extensively for business and pleasure, so are well used to finding a few hidden gems! We knew we would like Marko and his family from the very first email; it's funny how you can get an impression of somebody from something as impersonal as an email but you definitely can and we very quickly decided that this place was right for us. We were a family of 7 with 5 travelling from Montenegro and two driving from Edinburgh via a wedding in Italy and were looking for the perfect coastal property. We had actually been looking at booking a place in Dubrovnik but having visited there as one of our days out (by small ferryboat immediately below us on the harbour) we were so pleased we hadn't - we spent 3 hours there and couldn't wait to get back to Cavtat and the peace and quiet! Dubrovnik is undoubtedly a beautiful city but there were way to many people there (even out of school holidays) - we have already spoken to Marko about booking out of the main holiday season and would love to return even as a couple. The house itself is set over three floors and was perfect for my husband and I, 3 sons and partners, with loads of living space, bathrooms and outside areas, we really couldn't have asked for better. The Wi-fi was fantastic too, and as anybody with children under 30 (or me!) knows is one of the most important services required! The kitchen had everything you might need to eat in and the best best restaurants are immediately below the steps outside of the house if you want to eat out. The outside seating area meant that we actually eat in (a takeaway on one night) more than we had planned, it was such a nice setting and the perfect place to finish off any evening, with perfect sunsets over the harbour. Location wise, the house was unbeatable - it probably wouldn't suit the elderly or infirm due to the house layout and steps down to the harbour below, but for anybody else it would be just perfect. It's one of those places that you don't want to tell anyone else about and want to keep to your yourself, but that would do an injustice to Marko and his family who have obviously worked so hard to create this gem of a place, but as long as it's available when we want to go back I will be happy to post this review. I hope this review helps you choose your perfect place for you. Linda

The good; The villa was out standing and exceeded our expectations. It was well stocked with essentials for everyone and provided excellent views. The location was also very good in the center of everything. The towns entertainment was very good and local shops and beaches were walking distance. Marko the manager was very helpful to us and even helped with the luggage to and from the villa. We saw him elsewhere while touring and he helped us then also. He is very active and personable and would recommend him to anyone. The bad; None I can think of. All in all a very positive experience for my family, my friends, and I. The whole arrangement for the villa was handled in a professional way and is a relief that it did not add any stress to our journey. Marko met us at the ramp and guided us to the villa, it was exiting and I recommend this destination to anyone, just beautiful.

Stone and timber construction give this lovely villa a rustic feel, but there is no lack of modern conveniences. The villa is on three stories. You enter on the middle story, where there is a kitchenette, living room and two double bedrooms and a full bath. Upstairs from that is a sleeping loft with three twin beds, a rollaway cot and a couch, plus another full bath. Downstairs is a large kitchen with a big dining table, a small couch and another double bedroom and full bath. The best part of the house, though is that it has two wonderful terraces, one on the bottom floor and one on the middle floor. The lower terrace has two tables, one large and one small, where you can have your morning coffee. The upstairs rooftop terrace has a nice seating area and spectacular views where we watched the sunset almost every evening. Both terraces have views of the sea. It was just perfect for the two couples that comprised our party. The only drawback was that there was no indoor space where more than three people could comfortably congregate except the kitchen table. That was not a big problem for us, but it could be for a larger group if the weather were marginal. Cavtat is a lively town with several very good restaurants and plenty of amenities and activities such as swimming in the sea, hiking, kayak rental, shops, guided tours and frequent ferries to nearby islands and Dubrovnik. We did spend three days in Dubrovnik, which is a beautiful and historic place, but were happy to return to Cavtat and leave the crowds in Dubrovnik. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and hope to have the opportunity to return. Steep stairs that are required for access from the street could be a challenge to those with mobility limitations.

This marvellous villa is situated in the peaceful old Town with really great sea view. We were 7 grown-up people in two generations and we all loved the house with much space (three floors) three bathrooms and a great kitchen; with a dishwasher, which was nice since we ate breakfast every day and cooked dinner several of times. Cavtat is a fantastic place with everything nearby and in an hour, with a boat, you are in Dubrovnik which also is well worth one or two visits, but Cavtat is the best place to stay and we couldn´t have found a better house!!! The service with transfer and other things were also really good. Gunilla from the North of Sweden
