Property: The apartment was very clean, and we really enjoyed the nice sea view from our room and balcony. We also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, with almost no loud noise or partying on the property. The apartments are well isolated, which provided a good sense of privacy and peace. The bathrooms were modern and clean, and the host was friendly and accommodating. We were also very pleased with the bed, which was quite comfortable, and we appreciated the towel change during our stay.
We liked the location being a little further away from the center, although we did wish we had a car, as it is about a 25-minute walk to the center.
CITY recommendations: We spent most of our time at the nearby Žal Beach, which we highly recommend. There are great options for lunch and drinks, as well as a beach club. We especially liked the beach because there are only about 2 meters of stones before the water becomes sandy, which makes getting into the sea much more comfortable.
We also recommend going into the center for dinner. Our favorite places were Club 21, Harbour Cafe & Restaurant (especially the wok and sushi), and Restaurant Zino. And make sure to grab a dessert at Prekala Churros near the Shell Museum!
There is no formal reception area; the host spends time in the common areas, which gave us the feeling that we were constantly being watched and followed around. Overall, we felt there was a lack of privacy.
We also had an issue with ants, and the host’s response was not satisfactory. He explained that, as "a condition of staying at the property", all food must be kept in the fridge, and that even packaged pasta could attract ants. However, we found ants throughout our room, so we do not believe this was simply a matter of the climate or an occasional occurrence, but rather an infestation. The “rule” about keeping all food in the fridge did not help resolve the actual problem we were experiencing in the room. We didn't really make proper meals here due to this issue mainly in the kitchenette area. Since we stayed for 10 days, we found the way this issue was handled particularly disappointing and unprofessional. There were no attempts of action, or initiative to help with this issue. There was also NO mention when booking that ants were a normal or recurring issue in the area/property. For this reason, we are very disappointed with our stay.
Also be aware of the steep incline to the property, it was okay at first (we are both in out 20-30s) but I saw an older couple also staying at the property that were having a bit of a trouble, especially in the heat.

The views were amazing, the apartment was clean and well kept.
The bathroom drains did not smell very pleasant, the bathroom got very wet when showering and the WiFi wasn’t great in our apartment (was intermittent).

The staff were really nice and the views are incredible but unfortunately that was all.
I'm aware these issues may only be because we had a baby in a buggy with us. But it is very far out from town, maybe 25 min walk and then a very steep hill/ steps to get to the apt. No shops around to get basic things like bread /milk. The pool was not kept, it was dirty and unclean and lots of ants all over the sun chairs etc. We ended up leaving after 2 days and moving into town.
