About this villa rental
Villa Céleste is a detached 5-bedroom villa, available for exclusive use by a group of 10 people, ideal for families or groups.
A contemporary villa covering 270 m² situated in Ghazoua, just 2 km from Baoussala and 8 km from Essaouira and Sidi Kaouki.
Nestled in the heart of a vast, tree-lined garden covering 1,500 m², it offers a peaceful setting with a unique style that blends vintage furniture and Moroccan craftsmanship, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere with unobstructed views of the countryside and magnificent sunsets.
Villa Céleste features a swimming pool (12m x 3.5m) heated year-round to 28°, sheltered from the prevailing winds, and several terraces also sheltered from the wind, ideal for relaxing. It has 5 spacious and comfortable bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Four bedrooms are on the ground floor, each with a private terrace, whilst a fifth bedroom is situated on the roof terrace, offering exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding garrigue.
You’ll also enjoy a large, light-filled living area with a fireplace, an open-plan kitchen, large dining tables perfect for entertaining, a TV lounge and a spacious, cosy sitting room. The villa has numerous terraces, both shaded and sunny, with comfortable sun loungers and parasols around the swimming pool for you to relax.
The garden features a wooden swing set with two swings and also has a lovely wooden playhouse for the children.
A private cook can enhance your stay, ensuring complete comfort.
Every morning, Amina cleans the bedrooms and living areas and prepares breakfast. She cooks delicious Moroccan dishes using fresh produce. Tagines, couscous, salads, mint tea, crêpes… a real treat!
If you wish, Amina can be on hand to prepare your meals during your stay: (lunches, afternoon snacks and dinners.)
Cooking service: Guests are responsible for the cost of groceries.
350 dirhams/day (lunches, afternoon snacks and dinners.)
200 dirhams per day (one meal)
For added convenience, we can also organise the shopping for you:
Shopping service: 200 dirhams (Lahcen, our trusted courier, will take care of the shopping. He will provide you with the receipts and the bill at the end of the week.)
This catering service is not compulsory. You simply need to let her know in advance so she can make the necessary arrangements. She works from a set menu, and you can choose the dishes according to your preferences. If you plan to eat out, at the beach or in the medina, simply let her know the day before.
Finally, Yahia, our caretaker, has been looking after the property for many years. He maintains the garden, the terraces and the swimming pool, and will welcome you on your arrival. Both speak perfect French and will go out of their way to ensure your stay is as pleasant and relaxing as possible.
We recommend hiring a car and can book one for you, to be delivered to the villa or to Essaouira Airport, which is 10 minutes’ drive from the villa. €30–35 per day for a Dacia Logan.

The house is located in a quiet area, 15/20 mn from Essaouira medina and the best beaches of the area. Essaouira and their surroudings has been a very very good surprise for us, family of 4 (5 & 7 years old kids). We've been several times in Morocco and were estonished by the beauty of the landscape between Essaouira and Agadir. Johanne gave us all the good tricks and locations to fully enjoy the medina, the beaches, the restaurants, the surf shops, ...
and the house ...
Full of light, a large "living room" with an open kitchen, a fireplace, sofas and cushions
beautifully decorated bedrooms & bathrooms
and the terrasse with the swimming-pool!!! your personal heaven!
not to mention the great tagines of the cook
we loved it. the kids just want to go back to "la maison de Johanne". and we'll go back for sure!

Nous y avons effectué un court séjour en juin 2013. La villa correspond en tous points aux détails et photos de l'annonce.
On y accède aisément en empruntant environ 1Km de piste.
La maison est assez proche du centre ville (moins de 15min en voiture) comme du golf (moins de 10min en voiture).
On est au calme avec une belle vue dégagées sur les terres arides et ventées d'Essaouira. Louer une voiture est donc indispensable pour pouvoir se déplacer aux alentours. Sinon, il faut opter pour le taxi mais qu'il faudra le commander à l'avance car la maison n'est pas sur une route passante.
L'équipement intérieur comme le mobilier extérieur sont à l'avenant avec tout le confort nécessaire.
La maison est extrêmement agréable à vivre: lumineuse, joliment décorée avec goût, spacieuse. On s'y sent vraiment très très bien. L'ensemble est neuf et bien entretenu.
A noter que les petit-déjeuner sont proposés et préparés sur place pour le personnel de maison.
Au final, location que je recommande chaudement pour passer quelques jours à Essaouira en famille ou entre amis.
