Room very clean and comfortable. Basic but that is to be expected for the price. Also very conveniently located near supermarket and places to eat. Has its own bar food as well.
Not a criticism just a couple of suggestions
1. Show on the menu in the rooms what time food is available.
2. Provide a key to the outside door or tell guests when the door is locked

Ideal hotel if you want to rest before continuing your drive to Wellington. Very good price for a single room. What we loved most were the heated beds, so if you come here in winter you won't be cold and will be very comfortable. The hotel has a fairly large shared kitchen. The rooms are spacious and include a sink, towels, sheets, and a heater. We only stayed one night, but it was perfect for resting, spending the night, and continuing our journey down to the capital. Highly recommended

Didn't have any breakfast
Tv didn't work. A man tried to fix it but nothing happened.
Could have had extra blanket. Don't like to leave electric blanket on.
Didn't have a roast meal and they used to.
