Horse riding locally, numerous local pubs to explore, sandy beaches galore, shopping at Truro main city with its Cathedral, or travel up the Northern Coast towards Boscastle, Tintagel you will never get bored of this lovely piece of the world its a rare find. Padstow is 40 minute drive, or venture all the way along the North Coast to Bude drive and beyond. The Laurels is a beautiful Cornish stoned cottage surrounded by Cornish stone wall and has a warm and welcoming feel factor. You can have Cosy nights in in front of the log burner or venture out to the local pubs where there is always something on offer. Perranporth famous watering hole is a mere 6 miles and is easily accessible by car or take the bus that stops directly outside or local taxi. The village shop caters for all needs from dinners to fresh produce including the local farmers sausages well worth a try. It is also a post office and has fresh pasties and sausage rolls for a quick snack, Newspapers, wine, sweets and dinner if your cooking in. Or the Londis Supermarket is slightly larger just 5 mins walk. We are always happy to talk endlessly about The Laurels and give ideas of places to visit and recommendations for restaurants, take aways, pubs or places worth visiting. There is a local stables for the riding enthusiast. Surfing at the famous Perranporth Beach or St Agnes. Porthtowan can be walked to through the woods and the countryside for those who like walking ( you can always get the bus back up again). The bus stop is outside the cottage and will take you to Truro, Perranporth, Holywell Bay, Crantock, Porthtowan and Portreath (the beautiful harbour and beach). For walkers you can follow the coastal path all the way along the St Agnes Beacon from Portreath, cyclists can hire bikes to explore the local area from Portreath.
