Barbizon is a genuinely beautiful village, and this property captures everything that makes it special. The location is ideal — easy access to the Forest for climbing, within reach of some excellent restaurants, and set in a wonderfully secluded spot surrounded by sculptures that gives the place a real character of its own.The property was spotless on arrival, and the host was communicative and helpful throughout. Everything was exactly as described, which made planning the trip straightforward.Would absolutely recommend to anyone heading to the area, whether for climbing or simply to enjoy one of the most charming corners of the Île-de-France. We'll be back.

We enjoyed our stay. A little more sitting area would be nice but perhaps we did not look at the pictures in the ad closely enough. The apartment was clean and comfortable but perhaps the kitchen could do with some renewal - especially the cupboards and drawers. We loved the garden and being close to the village.
