Zeer moderne en leuke plek waar ook locals (in het weekend) graag komen om een hapje te eten, een verjaardag of ander feestje te vieren. In de kamer hadden we hier eigenlijk geen last van en om half 11 was het feest voorbij. Erg fijne bedden in de dorm en airco werkte perfect! Zwembad was schoon en heerlijk verfrissend. Eten ook goed.

Locatie is niet super. Aan de rand van het historisch centrum, maar werd aangeraden om daar taxi heen te nemen (5 minuutjes).

The bathrooms were sometimes dirty. Some of the stalls for the showers/ toilets could not lock propperly and the first night i tried to plug in my charger but the whole powersocket came out..

The pool was great, room was spacious and staff was nice!

We got offered to enjoy the happy hour, we got 2 for 1 cocktail each. When it was time ti check-out we have been told we had our drinks out of the happy hour (from 5 to 7, we had it around 5:30). The waiter said it was before that, and they went to check the cameras to make sure we were telling the truth. Not the best experience. Also, it’s not the best location, there’s not much around. At night, music was very very loud and it was not easy to fall asleep.

The beds are nice and the airconditioning was good. The pool is nice. Good options for dinner.

The shower and bathroom wasn't that clean. It was at the end of the day but I didn't like this. Also the breakfast was minimal. The neighbourhood is not good to walk at night. Not too many people there.

Newish, very beautiful place for affordable price, just outside the center of Santa Marta. Pool seemed okay.

The loud music was louder than anywhere I have ever stayed, so there was really no option to work or read, and even talking was more like shouting. The room had a super loud fan and all in all, everything was so noisy I decided to check-out two nights early. The front desk was nice and gave me a refund, the restaurant staff didn't seem to enjoy their work.

I liked everything about this place, a beautiful house with a nice pool, yard, bar and restaurant. The staff was super friendly.

Hector and Victor are very friendly guys, always smiling and trying to do their best. Amazing pool - really really cool. Everything is new at the hostel. Well-designed, excellent outside area. Lots of birds around the neighborhood. Nice break fast area. Comfortable and clean rooms. Silent at night to sleep (after 12pm). It is not inside the center, so it is not so noize. Recommendations: Bring repellent because this was the area where I found more mosquitos at Santa Marta. If you are overwhelmed about reggaeton, then prepare your mind for it. Can be annoying :( As I live in Colombia for long time, FOR ME it is a safe area at Santa Marta, but if you don't know Colombia at all, the neighborhood can be uncomfortable and empty at night - it causes felling of insecurity. I believe on this hostel. Facilities are amazing. Just need to start from zero with concept, business culture and services. I want to help.

It was the worst toilet if I compare with the other 6 hostels I have been at Santa Marta. 2. No coffee available, as others. Only at breakfast. Not a must to have, but nice to have. 3. A few staff are nice, but most of them are very closed, no HI, no Hello, No bye, No smile at all. If you ask something, they make you feel guilty about ask anything. 4. The guy at the bar became upset because I asked to low the music, while I was reading at 10am. I was the only person at the hostel, so I was not taking off the music from other guests. So he could do it. Then I asked again to Victor, and he lowered then. Loud reggaeton in the morning while guesting are reading - it is just a matter of awareness and look around. We are looking for experience, not the only facilities. 5. I was there twice, at the begging and end of the week. I leave my cap there by my mistake, and sent an audio, they never answered. I arrived and asked for my cap - I was the only guest there- so it should be there. They say NO, "we don't found it". So they could do nothing. Hours after, I found my cap being wearing by their worker. I don't blame him, I worked at hostels, and we keep things people forgot. I blame reception that never asked the team about my cap. By luck, I recover it. Not really professional. 6. The Last Day was a joke. They receive a huge group from church. 30 persons wearing white t-shirts and talking on a microphone about miracles of good. I felt out of place. Not nice for a hostel. The owner need to decide which kind of public he wants. "backpackers"?Again, we are looking for experience, exchange, to share.
