Situated in West Kelowna, this attractive house for $196 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Located in a central, quiet forested neighborhood, this large traditional home is surrounded by some of the finest wineries in the valley. Guests have access to over 2500 sq. ft. of living space on the upper two floors as well as the private lush garden deck and patio and a parklike front yard. Downtown Kelowna is a convenient five minute drive across the bridge while the heart of West Kelowna is a seven minute trip. All bedrooms are on one floor, tastefully adorned with special attention to comfort. There are many neighborhood forested trails that overlook the city, the lake and bridge below. Two minutes away is the first in a series of great wineries including Mission Hill, Quails Gate and Mt. Boucherie and more. Walking distance takes you to a central shopping center that includes restaurants, a dollar store, drug store / pharmacy, Tim Hortons and Landmark Extreme movie cinemas. Challenging hikes, easy strolls, beautiful golf courses and of course Lake Okanagan are all close by. * As this is a private home with extensive gardens that need daily attention, there may be the need to water a few deck plants, especially in the heat of our recent Okanagan summers. If my guests don't mind handling this, I don't need to have a presence there. In the past this has worked out very well. Also, it's a West Kelowna bylaw that owners of short term house rentals maintain a presence or a suite onsite. Once I have my guests check in and are comfortably settled, especially during longer term stays, I often choose to stay offsite. Thanks for your understanding.

Our stay in Kelowna was very enjoyable in general. The accommodation was comfortable and well equipped; however, somewhat dated especially the plumbing. We had expected from reading the VRBO posting that there were two full bathrooms since we were two couples travelling together and that was a key feature we looked for as we searched for our accommodation. We had to make do with just one full bathroom. Disappointing! Alan was friendly and helpful and we made the best of the situation

We were very impressed by the neighbourhood and the look of the property. It's a beautiful home full of lots of interesting art and "treasures" as Alan calls them. Alan himself was easy to work with and very welcoming, gave us some good recommendations for beaches and wineries to visit. If you are interested in wineries in West Kelowna, it's very easy to just walk out the door and go tour them yourself instead of paying for a tour bus. The closest one is only 15 minutes away.

Great location- close to amenities, beach, wineries and downtown Stocked house, main floor and upstairs access, large 3 bedrooms and beautiful private backyard. As the other review shared, this is the owners permanent residency and lives in the basement suite while guests are there and this was not disclosed until we arrived. This has never been my experience in the past when renting and was not expected. Owner was helpful and respected the space while we were there and accommodated to let us come before check in time.

Was a fantastic stay beautiful clean home with a very serene quiet relaxing back yard. Close to all main connecting roads, great location ! The owner was more than accommodating to us during our stay and I would highly recommend staying here !

Great location, quiet, beautiful neighbourhood - away from busy downtown Kelowna, like another world 3 minutes away.Owner was very personable and helpful. House was roomy, tastefully decorated. All furniture comfortable as was all beds. Kitchen lacked nothing - everything was supplied over and beyond what is required.Backyard very private and lush - outside furniture very comfortable.One of the best VRBO's we ever stayed in. NOTE: Owner lives in basement and renter has a suite in the front of house also - although this was not disclosed beforehand, it was never a problem in any way - never saw/heard renter.

Spacious home just over the bridge in West Kelowna with easy access to highway, wineries. Large comfortable bedrooms and living areas. Fantastic private backyard to relax in and quiet neighbourhood. Al was friendly & helpful. It was just perfect for the 6 of us. Would recommend and visit again.
