About this cottage rental
200 m from the village center, in a small quiet street by the river, small independent apartment of 40m2 which can accommodate 1 to 4 people, adjoining the main house, located in the old house of the Villefort mill.
I tried as much as possible during the restoration to keep all the charm and the old character of the house by leaving visible beams and stone frames. I offer you a room with a double bed (160x200). In the living room a convertible sofa allows to sleep 2 additional people. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, electric oven, gas hob and washing machine. A small closed and flowery courtyard is fitted out with garden furniture and barbecue. Linen and towels are included in the rental. Special family: provision of a small folding child bed, a high chair and a small plastic bathtub on request and at no extra charge.
The small house is unfortunately not very accessible to people with reduced mobility because the access is done by a stone staircase of about ten steps.

We really enjoyed our stay. Despite its name, this little house has plenty of room for two and is very pleasant. It is well designed and well equipped. Quiet and private, but just a 5 minute walk to Villefort's high street with its excellent boulangerie, boucherie, mini market and tourist office. Lots of hikes from the front door, plus some great cycle routes if you don't mind hills – this area of the Cevennes is big country! We enjoyed meeting the owner Martine who was unfailingly helpful.

The Gite was v. well appointed if a little difficult to access for a couple of our age group. Very few Brits seem to stay there however once we found our way around we really enjoyed our holiday, the host Martine was lovely ,helpful and provided us with all our needs.

Liebevoll umgebaute Wohnung (alte Mühle), mit allen notwendigen Einrichtigungen. Ideal am Dorfrand gelegen, mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Villefort. Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge und sportliche Aktivitäten. Die Gastgeber ist zuvorkommend und kennt die Umgebung bestens. Wir konnten uns gut erholten.
