• Great location. The metro is within easy walking distance, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafés nearby. Many historical sights are also within easy reach.
• The cleanliness was excellent.
• The staff were friendly and communication was prompt and efficient.
• The restaurant where breakfast is served is just around the corner.
• Breakfast. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant and starts at 9 am, which is quite late for tourists who want to make the most of their day and visit the sights. To be fair, this was clearly stated on the property’s website, so we knew about it in advance.
However, when you arrive at 9 am, order two omelettes and then have to wait 40 minutes for them, it does not make for a particularly good start to the day. If you need to leave earlier, you can request a breakfast box, but this has to be arranged the day before. After sitting prepared overnight, the food was hardly fresh or particularly appetising.
• Stairs. The stairs are very steep, especially if your room is on the 2nd floor, which can be quite challenging with luggage.
• Cockroach. We also saw a large cockroach near the entrance, which was unpleasant.

The room was clean and had everything that was needed.
I was advised prior to my stay that the room had been renovated. However, I was then surprised to see that the shower door did not seal properly and due to the layout it then leaked all over the floor. The bathroom layout in these rooms is really not great, you cannot get out the shower without wetting the entire floor and we bumped our feet on the washbasin stand multiple times due to layout of the bathroom. I would strongly suggest changing this and then the rooms would be lovely.
