Close to the beach!
We stayed here last year and enjoyed our accommodations so much that we decided to return this year. Unfortunately, our experience this time was quite disappointing.
When I rebooked, I did not realize that I had selected a different cabin number. Unlike our previous cabin, this one did not have an upstairs bathroom, even though the price was the same. While this was partly due to the cabin we selected, several other issues also significantly affected our stay.
For four guests, only one roll of toilet paper was provided, with no additional roll available in the cabin. Fortunately, I had some in my car. There was also no hand soap at the bathroom sink, which I consider a basic necessity. Additionally, there was visible mold in the shower, which was particularly disappointing.
We also had difficulty with parking. We parked one of our cars on the main street and understood that the office offered parking for €8 per day, rather than the €14.75 charged by the parking machine. Unfortunately, the office was never open during our entire stay, from Friday to Monday, so we were unable to take advantage of that option.
I would also strongly recommend that guests with mobility concerns take the stairs into consideration. The stairs in these cabins are extremely short and steep, and we found them difficult and potentially unsafe to navigate. The fact that our cabin did not have an upstairs bathroom made this especially concerning when using the stairs at night.
We really wanted to enjoy our return visit because we had such a positive experience the previous year. Unfortunately, based on this stay, we will probably not return. I hope management will consider addressing these issues, particularly the cleanliness, provision of basic bathroom supplies, and accessibility concerns. We did appreciate the late check-in time.

I would have liked to have more time on the day of our departure (the departures are scheduled for 10:00). This would have made tidying and cleaning the lodge easier. Otherwise, the lodge is of good quality.
