It was an extremely delightful experience to stay at Grand Hotel Cannigione. From the second we arrived we felt we were in the best hands in beautiful surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the ease with which we were able tor reach the two beaches which were quite different, it was very luxurious to have lunch and aperitifs at the beaches, not to mention the wonderful swims. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was great.

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was very rich, the shuttle service to the beach worked well, the private beach was great, some of the staff were very friendly (especially on the beach and at breakfast)
The location of the hotel is away from the sea, the rooms were very small, impersonal and unimaginatively furnished. The view from the balcony and from the windows was unspectacular.
The hotel area is very small, everything seemed very stocky. The tables at breakfast are close together.
The prices for the rooms and extras at the beach and at breakfast are exorbitantly high.
The manageress and front desk staff was very arrogant and rude.
In the absence of alternatives, we extended one night. Due to the difference in price, we booked the additional night through Booking, apparently a room category lower.
This annoyed the manager of the hotel (elderly lady at the reception) so much that we had to change rooms for one night, even though we had already left an outrageous amount of money in the hotel by then.
A series of humiliations, arrogance attacks and unfriendliness followed, which a hotel of this price category is not worthy of.
We were put in a small room, a kind of broom closet. Instead of making the move as comfortable as possible, we had to hang around in the lobby with our luggage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. until we were allowed to go to our new room, although this was already free all the time. We were told tall tales the entire time
This was only for the purpose of humiliating us. Neither of us have ever experienced something so arrogant.
