We are ready to welcome you to our Ocean View Double Suite located at the beautiful Forest Dunes Resort in the heart of Myrtle Beach! Our suite can sleep up to six guests and is available exclusively through the official On-Site Rental provider. Our Ocean View Double Suite features all the comforts of home including: • Two Double Beds • Living Room with Sleeper Sofa • Private Balcony • Fully Equipped Kitchen • 1.5 Bath • Electric Coffee Pot • Hair Dryer • Iron and Ironing Board • Linens • 2 TV’s • DVD Player • Free In-Room Coffee • Free Wireless Internet Access • Complimentary Toiletries Our rental is available for Saturday – Saturday stays during the peak season and three-night stays during the remainder of the year. The room we stayed in was listed for 6 guests and there were enough beds for 6, 2 double beds that was in one bedroom causing it to be very little space in there and a pull out couch. The living room only had the pull out couch which could fit two adults or the children as far as sitting goes and the recliner. The only other sitting area was the kitchen chairs and barstools so not a lot of space to relax in. The balcony door either kept getting jammed or needed to be cleaned because it was very hard to open and close so we did not use it after the first day. You could not close the bedroom door all the way either. The floors were swept and we also swept them while we were there but our feet would get very dirty after walking on them and there was no mop available. They do have nice pool areas to swim in. The main thing is with everything listed above included the place has many wear and tear areas and could use an update and somehow offer better seating for guests to relax better.

Dirty! Underbed was so filthy It looked like it had never been cleaned. I had to clean the nightstand that had sticky stuff running off of it when we arrived. Room was not facing ocean like advertised

Nice Beach Stay
The floors were not clean and there were no paper towels. The blinds in the bedroom did not close, which was pretty annoying considering the cars that would load/unload throughout our stay would park right in front of the bedroom, and the curtains weren’t doing the best at blocking light. Also, the restaurant in the main building never seemed to be opened. But overall, location and stay was great, and our family made the best of our stay!

The check in was the only positive part of the experience. The floors were completely coated in dirt and pet hair and my wife refused to let the children sit on any furniture without putting a towel down first because of the pet hair and grime on everything. I have tried to contact the property through the VRBO app to possibly find a way to be reimbursed or at least to make them aware of the issues and I have received absolutely no feed back from the property. Worst VRBO experience to date.

Overall it was a good stay.

Their were Doritos under the bed and on the floor in the living room. Luckily I travel with bed sheets and pillows. The mismatch furniture takes away from the overall beauty. The mattress is terrible and the bed frames aren’t sturdy. Overall the stay was okay.

May beach trip May 6-may 9

I had to hunt for someone in housekeeping to get more towels. Although we were told the day before that they had an indoor pool, she failed to mention it was broken! The hot tub and outdoor pool were ok, but there were no chairs or umbrellas on the beach like what's shown in the resort pictures. We would've brought our own. Lastly, there were limited hours for the front desk, so we had no idea about things....nobody to ask about shows or how to purchase tickets, nobody to tell us how to check out. Although we made the most of our stay, I would not stay here again and recommend updates to the listing and resort that better reflect amenities.

Great Location
Being able to walk outside and immediately see the ocean was amazing! I also loved sitting out on the patio night because I could listen to the ocean’s waves. Loved the lazy river and hot tub too.

It was a little rough looking in the bathrooms and in the afternoon it had a septic smell. The pull out sofa had crumbs and was not made up. It has been 4 weeks and I still have not received my deposit back and trust me we left it swept and kept when we left.

Vacation was a blast. The staff had great personalities. The condo was clean except dishes that were in the dishwasher. I did book for 6 people and only had 3 towels but we made it work and you can ask for more.

This room is on the first floor with the entrance door being right by the loading/unloading area. Very helpful since we have kids and a lot of beach supplies, luggage, etc. The beach access was directly across the (not busy) street. There is a nice little play area for kids at the end of the block. It features a pirate ship, my youngest 2 children loved it! The area this condo is located is very laidback. The beaches were never too crowded. Everything you need is a 10 min drive or less. For extra to do, drive 25 mins south on Rt. 17 to Murrell’s Inlet for great seafood or water sports. Or drive 15 mins north to Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle. We visited both multiple times during our stay.
The room itself was ok. Has everything you need to cook/eat with, I’d suggest to wash dishes/utensils before use. There wasn’t any housekeeping during our stay. Thankfully I found a hidden broom and dust pan to keep the sand and kid crumbs to a minimum. A vacuum would have been nice though. We brought our own toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. If you don’t want to bring your own, you can call the front desk for these things(not paper towels) as well as garbage/dirty towel pick up and fresh towels.
If you plan to do laundry, bring quarters with you! The washers and dryers worked well, but it was nearly impossible to get change. No change machine available at the resort. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The Restaurant/bar onsite had good drinks and food. The staff were all very friendly/helpful. If you don’t care about having the perfect ocean view, this is the condo for you.

This is definitely a no-smoking property. They don't even have a bench for the smoking area that's all the way behind the parking garage. Heavy septic smell in the bathroom in the morning. Smell like sulfur. Other than that it was okay

Good for short term
The location was great, the amenities were good, but the actual room seems to be showing it’s age in the bathroom a bit. One fan didn’t work, the other fan was quiet old and loud and dripping something. Again-we didn’t stay here because of the room and it was perfectly acceptable.
