Situated in Wilmington, this lovely house for $505 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The house offers pristine distant views and easy access to Lake Whitingham, the largest contiguous lake in Vermont. Enjoyed by swimmers, boaters, paddlers and fishermen. (3-Kayaks, stand up paddle board and multiple bikes included in rental). The house has an open floor plan offering 3 separate lounging areas. Cathedral ceilings in living room with exposed timber beams provide a rustic cabin feel. Radiant heated floor makes for a comfortable house in winter. Covered deck with grill and table just off kitchen. Two of the queen rooms offer amazing lake views. High quality game room is an integrated part of the house and includes a slate Pool Table, 12' Shuffleboard table, Foosball and Ping pong. Historic downtown Wilmington is 1 mile away. A walkable village center with shops and restaurants, nestled in a beautiful natural setting. Surrounded by lakes, mountains and forest offering miles of hiking trails. You can walk to town from our property mostly thru a wooded trail. less than a 1 mile hike! Driveway is plowed and sanded in winter. However we do require that you have 4wd or all wheel drive vehicles During snow season. House Features Include:- 60" TV, TV in game room, both smart TV's with surround sound, Hi Speed Wireless internet Leather couches- Quality game room (Slate pool table, Quality Shuffleboard , Foosball Table & ping pong) Sauna - BBQ on deck,Sheets & Towels are included. The Best quality game room! This home was exceptional. The surfaces and floors were very clean, the couches and beds were extremely comfortable, and kitchen was fully stocked. There was plenty of living space for our group of 5 adults, and we really enjoyed the fantastic game room, The view of the lake was gorgeous. We also appreciated how accessible and friendly the owner was. We would highly recommend this home, and we look forward to returning soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Plenty of space for extended multi generation family. Place was clean and well stocked.
We enjoyed 2 days of skiing/tubbing//snow boarding at mount snow during the day and hanging out at the house in the evenings with the fire place, huge game room, spa, jacuzzi we had everything we needed.
Tony was very accessible and quick to respond.
The views from the property were beautiful
We 100% recommend and hope to come back in the futur.

The house is beautiful and has a stunning view of Harriman Reservoir. Big lawn, big game room downstairs. Porch rockers, fire pit, hot tub and more. Tony was super responsive - in touch but not intrusive - superb host!

This is a beautiful property, with breathtaking views, and plenty to do. We enjoyed shopping in town, using the sauna, and just taking in the views. The main listing did say the hot tub was open starting in September, but will not actually be open until December, which was disappointing but not a dealbreaker. The property owner is very nice and responsive.

This house was the perfect! The view was stunning, the house was clean, and filled with everything you could need! It’s secluded and private, but close to a downtown area. The lake is gorgeous. We brought our boat and put it in and out down the street. The kayaks, hot tub and sauna topped the cake! We can’t wait to come back.

We were looking for a family get-away on a lake, near nature hikes and quaint towns. We needed to sleep 7 and wanted to host dinner with friends one night. Everything went as planned and this beautiful and well-equipped home was the perfect solution. Our dinner guests were blown away by the view and couldn't stop asking how we found it. We put the provided kayaks and games to good use and even gave up on nature hikes finding the property itself provided all we were looking for. The town of Wilmington was a delightful surprise. Sadly many of the shops were only open short hours and during the weekend. There is an artist gallery there that we visited, decided to buy from, but then found he was closed the rest of our stay. We were also a bit disappointed that the path to the lake was longer than expected and the process of getting the kayaks into the water was too difficult for some of our party to do alone. However we did get several good rowing sessions in and the position of the house, high on the hill, offered an amazing view. This will be a vacation to remember for many years to come.

This house is wonderful! - Incredibly well equipped - especially the kitchen - with enough privacy for us and our adult children and grandchild. The lakefront is further than I had anticipated - not a short walk - but a drive down a very steep driveway to a small beach area . to launch kayaks. The lawn area is awesome - did I mention the view ?...It's amazing!! Loved the corn hole.. rainy day pool tournaments / foosball and pingpong. While the wifi was great our kids loved woking remotely from the coffee bar in town - not a short walk but a short drive. Tony was great with a couple of small issues and we would be very happy to return.

We were looking for a place where my family of 4 as well as my sister and her husband could spend a week having fun spending time together. We were not disappointed. We wanted to find a place where we could bring our boat and have quick access to be able to take it out on the water for the day. Well this fit the model for sure. Some of the biggest highlights.. 1. the view overlooking the water and mountains in the background is fantastic!
2. The house was spacious, very clean and well stocked with plenty of areas to relax and or socialize.
3. The lower level offered plenty of things to keep my 2 young teenage sons off of their electronics and playing ping-pong, billiards and shuffleboard.
4. The yard is very large, private and quiet.
We spent a lot of time on the covered back deck soaking up the views while enjoying our time together as a family. We will definitely be looking to vist again in the future and highly recommend this property for a family getaway!

I stayed here with old friends and we all felt the stress melt away. Amazing views and even a family of gophers would pop by on occasion. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Wilmington is a quaint and friendly town – make sure you eat at Dots.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend. The house is absolutely stunning with the perfect mix of rustic/antiques with modern. The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking and were the perfect backdrop for some bridal party photos before the wedding. There were 7 adults staying for the weekend and the house was more than big enough to fit us all comfortably . . . each couple had their own "area" so we were never in each other's way. The house was perfectly stocked for anything we needed. Unfortunately, the weekend flew by with wedding festivities so we didn't have time to utilize the sauna, lake or any other amenity. There's a really neat game room downstairs that we were hoping to use, but didn't get a chance. The town was amazing and we can not wait to get back to explore it . . . And we'll definitely be renting this house again!!!!

A fantastic home, great for a family reunion. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The lake was pristine. I couldn’t ask for more (save some beach towels and a few more supplies— garbage bags tissues, etc) All in all, a great vacation spot. And the game room is so fun!

The property was set up on the hill overlooking the lake. The rooms were large and spread out which helped to minimize noise levels. The kids loved the game room. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and dishes.
We had 6 kids with us and lots of kayaks, fishing gear, paddle boards and water toys. It was a lot having to drive everything up and down the hill to the house. But worth the view.

This was a great property to stay at for a ski trip - not too far from my snow and plenty of room to hang out. There was 10 of us and we didn’t feel on top of each other or squished in a house. All the games and hot tub/sauna were great after a day on the mountain.

Hello! What an amazing stay we had! The views from the house are absolutely stunning! The communication with the owners is by far the best I’ve ever experienced! We will 100% be back for another stay! If you’re planning on staying during the winter you’ll need a 4wd vehicle.
