We loved Syracuse and the flat! Will book again if/when we come back to Syrcause.

Located in a great area very close to many restaurants and sights. Small supermarkets are also nearby. Really nice rooftop terrace with beautiful views all around. The host kept in contact to ensure everything was ok.

Cleaning was ok but could be improved. The shower drain was a bit slow so had to turn of shower frequently, but it was an old building so maybe not that strange.

Im Appartment Water gerne wieder!

Wir haben zuerst im Appartment Fire gewohnt. Dies kann ich ausschließlich für einen Kurztripp empfehlen, da es aus einem Zimmer und einem Balkon zum Hinterhof inkl. Klimaanlagen besteht und nicht, wie im Internet beschrieben, ein Appartement ist. Durch eine Verbindungstür zum Nachbarappartement Earth, ist es super hellhörig und wenn dieses - wie in unserem Fall - durch 4 Personen belegt war, leider nicht zur Erholung, längeren Aufenthalt und gutem Schlaf geeignet. Wir habe dies an unseren Host Cristina kommuniziert und konnten nach 2 Nächten in das Appartement Water umziehen. Dies war super klasse! Über den Dächern von Syrakus mit eigener Dachterasse inkl. Blick auf den Ätna (je nach Wetterlage). Separate Küche, Schlafzimmer und Bad - so, dass man auch dort gerne Zeit verbracht hat und ungestört war.

Siehe hierzu die Einleitung bei "was hat ihnen gefallen", die mit einem Nichtgefallen beginnt... Keine Möglichkeit Handtücher im Bad zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Untere Haustür sowie Zwischentür sehr laut beim Schließen. Fehlende Kleinigkeiten wie Abtrockentücher etc. November = Reparaturzeit, so dass die gegenüberliegende Terrasse von Handwerkern belegt war, die freien Blick auf das Appartment und mächtig Krach genacht haben.

EARTH apartment - modern and comfortable , highly recommended!

There are several apartments in the building, we stayed a week in EARTH. Modern, clean and comfortable apartment. I was hoping for one with a roof terrace but in fact the sun was so strong we were happy not to have one. Cristina was most helpful and made out stay very enjoyable. I would definitely stay again! The location is very central; a walking distance to all major attractions and the beach, but the apartment was quiet. Large double bed was comfy, nice bedsheets and towels, well equipped kitchen, cool designer bathroom. Cristina gave us fantastic recommendation for the local restaurants. We had a great holiday, thank you!

I like everything in the apartment. I noticed bedroom AC is not as strong as the living room one but it was not a problem for us. It was still working well to cool the bedroom and we had good night sleep every night.

Fantastic location snd very helpful host.

The location, the terrace and location in Ortiga. Comfortable bedroom.

We would have like a parasol for shade on the terrace. And a knife for cutting bread.

A great spot in a lovely part of Italy

Great spot in the historical centre. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. On street paid parking was close.

Couple of flights of stairs to get to your room so be prepared to carry those suitcases!

Parking is an issue as very limited on island. We parked for free just off the island as did not get the required pass.

Superb

The view from our balcony was amazing, could see fireworks from the bay and sunset. Large kitchen with utensils and pans to cook, as well as cooking essentials. Great location, facilities were modern, patio was great with chairs and table as well as sun-beds. Great stay for a holiday! Cristina the host organised beach stays and transfers for us as well.

Being in a historical building, there was no elevator. Our room was on level 3 and we had to walk up multiple flights of stairs with large suitcases.

Very good

Beautiful location in the heart of Syracusa and quiet. Lovely interior design, where you feel home immediately. The host was very reactive by whatsapp and booking and gave us many tips.

Parking isn't far, but its 2 euro per hour and quite expensive. We were in Sciracusa during low season. In mainseason probably challenging to find a parking lot.

A wonderful and spacious location where you will feel very comfortable

Within the building, there are 3 apartments for tourists. We were accommodated in the one called "Earth". In addition to its excellent location, the apartment stands out with a tasteful minimalist interior design. We felt really good.

We had a bit of difficulty with the suitcase on the quite steep stairs. Additionally, it would have been better if we had two sets of keys.

The perfect place to stay in beautiful Ortigia

The location, the terass, the view - wow! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom very nice.Plenty of good ambience light. The availability and service was amazing! I can't think of anything that wasn't perfect or next to perfect. Truly one of my favourite Airbnbs ever!

The only room for improvement was (and they were only little details..). A better bread knife, a pair of scissors and more than one sets of keys.

Fantastic apartment with great balcony.

Beautiful apartment situated in the heart of the town. Very clean and contemporary, complete with everything you need. Bed comfortable. But I would have liked a douvet as it was a bit cooler while we were there. Fantastic secluded balcony, which has the sun practically all day. (Love the fitted sun bed covers) Cristina was regularly in contact to make sure everything was fine and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended appartment. Thanks.

I'm a bit of a softie, so I would have liked a douvet this time of year. Although it was easy to warm up with the air conditioning.

We stayed in the Water apartment (with terrace). Perk of the place: amazing terrace, spacious and with nice view, it has shade in the morning, perfect for having breakfast, and sunny during the day perfect for tanning, with a great view on the sunset

Good stay in Ortigia

Design of the apartment was good - it just needs some touch up on the bathroom because the black paint is faded. The location is really good very close to PORTA Marina

The air conditioning was not working properly - sometimes was working fine sometimes not. The bathroom is quite dark and without the bidet that is quite uncommon in Italy. The room description saying there is a balcony but unfortunately is just 20 cm x 1 m.

No advice Pre arrival for specific parking advice photos, maps re cost and how to etc, and directions , info on day of arrival so messy so stressful, l also read words hotel and reception, so we expected face to face, there is no reception nor hotel these are apartments to rent with what's app phone support with limited English , all sorted in the end but not an easy start ,lovely stay , bumpy start.

Beautiful, well-equipped room in the heart of Ortigia.

Centrally located B&B, close to all the restaurants and shops. The perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy Ortigia. Modern, newly renovated, big TV, perfectly sound proof and well kitted out with all the conveniences you need from a little kitchenette. Cristina was very helpful and available for anything. Highly recommend.

We had no problem with it - but the steps may be quite steep for others. But as someone said before, it is worth the effort!

Exceptional

Superb flat right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Ortigia Island. Host communicated with us via Whatsapp prior to arrival and met us at car park (2 minutes walk from apartment) We had a free upgrade to a bigger apartment, which was a lovely touch. The apartment seemed brand new. Super stylish, beautifully designed and very spacious. Lovely kitchenette with proper coffee machine to make cappuccinos etc. Host provided things to make your own breakfast (eggs/ fruit/ milk/ cereal), which was lovely. Although we didn't take advantage of this as preferred to eat out. Perfect location. Good aircon and general facilities, Very quiet. Would highly recommend.

No outside space. Although the apartment has 'balconies' they are actually just floor to ceiling windows. I think the other two flats in the property come with a roof terrace / balcony....

I loved the atmosphere, the way the apartment was decorated, with style and taste. It was so clean, like you rarely see. Everything was so perfect that we are planning soon another trip. Cristina is excellent. I wish there were more places like this. Grazie

Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment with high quality design furniture. Everything was super clean. Perfectly located, near many cool Bars and restaurants. We would definitely come back!
