Amazing view, beautiful design

This was a lucky find for our trip to Tuscany. The experience of Villa Curiel was unlike any other in the region. From the cleanliness and modernity of the rooms, to the hospitality and assistance of the owners, nothing could have been better. (The homemade breakfast was the ultimate win for me!) The location is also perfect since the best restaurants are only a 3 minute walk uphill, yet you can choose to stay in and enjoy the incredible view of the rural and the sea. Highly recommend this place, and definitely coming back again!

Cristiano and Dalia are wonderfully welcoming and helpful. The fresh breakfast they prepared every day was fantastic. The villa is only a 5 minute walk from the village but is in a nice quiet location with sea views. Our room was comfortable and immaculately clean.

A little more storage space in the room would have been ideal.

The view, decor and location

Very nice, modern property with excellent views, close to restaurants and the town center. excellent breakfast. Christiano and his wife are very welcoming and go above and bruins for their guests. We were leaving early and they not only made us breakfast early but also sent us on our way with yummy sandwiches for lunch.

This is a wonderful place! First of all, it's the location, which is absolutely stunning! Views of the mare above marina Castangneto are absolutely stunning! The facility itself appears to be quite new. Nice building, with state of the art trendy furniture. Rooms are super-clean and modern! Beds are comfy! Breakfast is great and staff / owners are absolutely friendly and helpful! This is definitely a place, where I would come again. Few things to note: Not all rooms face the seaside! Some rooms face rearside, where views may not be too nice! We had a great room at groundfloor, which had some sort of little private sitting area in front! First floor room may lack these... One thing to mention: Breakfast area on the first floor is great. It's really stylish and a feel-well place!

There's not much to complain about. It may be a bit strange, that reception area is located on first floor, and rooms at ground floor may only be reached by a rather small stair case. You may want to complain to the architect ;-). Everything else was fine. As said above, I would come again! Thanks for three great days at Castagneto!

Lovely staff and great breakfast!

We had an issue with the air con not working properly on our first night which had us doubting if we wanted to stay. However, the issue was quickly solved by staff the next day and rest of our stay was lovely.

Beautiful and spacious rooms (with an amazing shower!), great location, great views of the city/sea (especially at sunset!), excellent breakfast (homemade cakes were outstanding). Amazing hospitality from the staff and owners. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Villa Curiel for 3 nights as we were attending a wedding in Castello Segalari. The hilltop town of Castagneto Carducci is beautiful and the hotel is a lovely modern addition in the hillside. We struggled to find the hotel but Cristiano came to our rescue and then showed us to our lovely clean bright room. He then gave us a map and was very helpful and booked us in to a lovely restaurant that evening. Breakfast is a served continental buffet with the addition of eggs beautifully cooked and served by Dalia. Tables look out on to the sea in the distance. The quaint traditional Tuscany town centre with its lovely shops and restaurants is only a 5 minute walk up a steep hill!

Information in advance of how to approach the hotel as satnav takes you the wrong way. Maybe a picture of the entrance of the road Via Antonio Gramsci which looks like a no entry. Also although we had a little space in the kitchen fridge, it would be nice to have a small fridge in the room.

The view was fantastic and Cristiano and his wife made our stay really enjoyable and comfortable. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Best cakes! They recommended some wine tasting is different and excellent compared to the commercial ones.

Definitely the view and the location. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. Mr. Cristiano the owner has been really nice! We will be back for sure next summer.

In the morning you can have a wonderful breakfast with an astonishing view over the sea and the countryside , surrounded by a welcoming and refined atmosphere. My room was perfect and the bed really comfortable

Vila Curiel is on top of the hill with breath taking views of the vineyards, olive trees and the sea. The place has a very smart and tasteful design. The design is minimalistic and modern with beautiful old, and local touches. The owner, Cristiano, is very pleasant, personable, and helpful. His suggestions about vineyards, restaurants, and places to visit were great. Great breakfast with homemade cakes, local cheeses, and excellent coffee. A unique place that exceeded well above my expectations.
