Laura, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she prepared us the best breakfast during our stay. She also introduced us to Olive, the family dog, and Clover, the family cat, which made our stay even more special.
The room was exceptionally clean, and the shower room was as beautiful and comfortable as one you would find in a first-class hotel. We had a wonderful time here and would definitely stay again when we visit Scotland in the future.

Situated in beautiful and quiet contryside, we loved our stay at South Craighall. The rooms are very comfortable and the Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Laura the host is very attentive and helpful.
It helps to have a car as the nearest restaurants, supermarket and train station is a 30 minute walk. We did use the local taxi service who were punctual and very nice. Parking at the station is free, however, and the train journey is about 30mins to Glasgow.

The quiet location, the homely feel of the property, we were made to feel welcome from start to finish. Breakfast was cooked to order and was spot on. We went for a meal to a local restaurant, called The Osprey, which was recommended to us and was thoroughly enjoyable.
Excellent views from the garden summer house.
To be honest, everything was just as expected and as advertised, so I would say that there was nothing to dislike or to complain about during the stay.
