The pods were well designed and really welcoming. We had everything we needed for a weekend stay and even though we were in a row of pods, and next to the caravan and bell tent fields we felt totally separate and secluded. We couldn’t even hear the live music from the reception/bar area and it’s not far away. The size and layout of the pods is ideal, and the beds were so comfy. Having an oven, fridge, and dishwasher meant it wasn’t a little home away from home and we couldn’t even hear spend our time relaxing in the pod or the hot tub without having to think about where to get food or whose turn it was to wash up.
Mostly perfect, but a few little things that do not matter at all but might be good to know about!
- the hob is induction only, and the big pan I brought to make lunch for 7 people was not an induction pan. However, a bit of improvisation meant it wasn’t an issue
- the freezer section of the fridge is a good size for a mini fridge, but there are no ice cube trays. I had packed some but it’s worth knowing about if you’re going to want ice
- the crockery/mug cupboard is under the breakfast bar which meant it’s slightly annoying to be the person sitting there. Again, not a real issue at all

The quirkiness of the Tipi . It was a fantastic experience
The site is really lovely too
I consider it quite expensive to stay there …And for the money spent , I would have thought that towels would have been included.
Also, there is nowhere at all whatsoever to put any clothes.
A small set of drawers would have been perfect.
All the other comforts are there electric, heating, cooking facilities,. But it was just lacking any storage capacity .
The whole site is well run , well thought out and very quiet late at night
The highlight of the trip was actually meeting Stephen Graham on the site itself. It was worth the trip just for that LOL.😃

We stayed in the bell tents, and the onsite facilities were amazing! Absolutely everything we needed was available and ready to use.
We also loved that they provided extra throw blankets, which were perfect for keeping warm while sitting outdoors in the evenings.
The evening entertainment at the farm pub was perfect to end the evening’s
