The staff, the facilities, the location

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly. The views of the lake were outstanding

Perhaps a menu for snacks, small plates, bar food would be good. Need a grab bar in the shower

Day one - a breakfast buffet day , very nice Day two and day 3, brought to table, selection is very nice, but rather wasteful as we did not want all of the things that were placed on the table. We ordered fried eggs, but they were actually a little overcooked . Aircon cooling did not work. Only worked when staff member intervened and when adjoining bedrooms not using Aircon. Insufficient lighting over bathroom mirror Insufficient charging points in bedroom, Mirror needed in bedroom: mirror above bench counter or long mirror

Beautiful hotel, very nice staff, spacious rooms, very clean, good breakfast

We booked this hotel specifically to go stargazing. We were very very dissapointed to discover that the hotel itself was incredibly lighted during nighttime. It's situated in the dark sky reserve, but the parking lot, driveway, lobby, and the buildings surrounding the hotel (such as the convention center) were absurdly brightly lit. I understand that some lighting might be necessary for guests arriving at night, but at the very least, motion-sensored lights could be used that only illuminate when needed. We had to walk quite a distance to find a somewhat dark spot to look at the stars, but the light pollution was truly absurd for a hotel that promotes itself as a stargazing location. No wonder the words 'dark sky' had to be removed from everywhere in the hotel. If we had known this earlier, we wouldn't have stayed at this hotel.
