About this house rental
Stunning oceanfront home overlooking the North Atlantic in scenic Portugal Cove, Newfoundland. Be inspired by breath-taking views from every window. Sit back and relax on the wrap-around deck which features adirondack chairs and a fire pit to enjoy the scenery and perhaps catch a glimpse of whales cruising by or an iceberg. Just a few steps from the house, feel free to cast off and try your luck at catching a few fish from the point when in season.
Inside, enjoy the luxuries of a full modern kitchen, living room with cable and wifi, a dining room table set for 8. There is also a telescope to view up close the beautiful Bell Island and an electric piano to create a masterpiece if you're feeling so inclined!
Steps from East Coast Trail - Piccos Ridge Path. Moments from the Bell Island Ferry. Short drive to local restaurants - Ferry Last Stop Cafe for a funky one of a kind experience (try the Shoo Fly Pie), Beachy Cove Cafe and By Da Beach for the best fish and chips. 10 km's to the airport and 16 km's drive to the heart of downtown St John's.
Monthly or longer term rentals would be considered as well - rates to be negotiated.

Had a wonderful time at this getaway. Lesley has supplied all the necessary ingredients for a wonderful stay. The serenity of the area added to a relaxing, rejuvenating experience. We hope to return some day.

We spent 4 nights at this home. It was comfortable, beautiful views! Saw whales 2 different days. The owner was great with communication, and the house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Would highly recommend this property. Only 20-25 pretty drive to the St. Johnโs waterfront. Quiet, serene and beautiful views.
