The location a lovely old old pub

Could do with a good clean in the bathroom

The location was excellent. Was able to park in private car park which was good. The staff were really nice especially the young girl in the bar. Breakfast was plentiful and properly cooked. Price was good.

The room was not good no draws or places to put items. A bedside lamp missing on one side of bed. The mattress was not good felt as though I was sleeping on the floor. The window frames looked as though they had never been cleaned. Again in the bathroom nowhere to put your toothbrushes etc. No tumblers for rinsing. The blind was missing lats in bathroom. I know it is an old building but little changes could make a difference.

Loved the location. Right in the middle of the village. Staff were very friendly and the food was good. The bedrooms were a little dated and old fashioned (which I like) bed was really comfortable and nice linen. Breakfast was very good also.

Strange reception but a chap who queried why we had booked a family room for 3 of us , telling us we would be too cramped yet he had nothing else available.
