A great location and very attentive hosts.

The location is very central which suited us. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly and the cat was an absolute pleasure. Also solar energy meant no load shedding during our stay.

We found it a bit cramped for a stay of this length but this was not a major issue for us.

The host is very friendly and helpful

There is no privacy whatsoever, the owners front door overlooks your bed so if you don't like to be seen in your pyjamas give this a miss, a simple screen on the steps of the house would avert this. It is so small, no room for a decent kitchen nook area. They have done the best with the space available.

The hospitality was remarkable, exceptional actually. The owners hospitality was the best I ever received in the past 28 years of booking into places. Due to the beauty of the place and mostly the hospitality. I rate them number one out of all the places I have been to. Hayley and Nick God bless your for the people your are..Thank you for opening your doors to my daughter and me. Your went the extra mile in making us comfortable.

Love that it is closely located to awesome amenities, while still having a feeling of village vibes.

As hosts Nick and Hailey are absolute stars… Friendly and helpful, and present when needed.

I couldn't have found a better place for my purposes.

Location very convenient for getting around Cape Town. Area quiet and garden charming, a nice space to relax. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful details on arrival: bottle of wine, bowl of Lindt chocolates, milk, good ground coffee, etc. And very warm and friendly hosts.

A lovely comfortable room and a friendly and welcoming host.

The comfortable bed and cosy linens, along with all the thoughtful complimentary extras - toiletries, ground coffee, rusks, Lindt chocolates and a bottle of wine.

Unfortunately I am allergic to cats so the over friendly cat coming into the room was rather a nuisance.

Comfy, homely and exceeded expectations

Very friendly and polite owners. Tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, etc didn't expect it and even rusks and Lindt sweets, cute man...will defs visit again if opportunity presents itself.

Expected a satellite dish or so but understand they fairly new.

Nick and Hayley are really great and helpful hosts. Although small and simple the room was very clean and comfortable and the "We care" touches such as the complimentary bottle of wine and bowl of chocolates as well as real filter coffee and milk was very welcome and much appreciated. The location is central and walking distance to restaurants etc. As an animal lover it was also wonderful to be visted by Toby the very friendly and socialnle house cat 🐈 Very good value for money.

Best place to go to, i loved it, they were sweet and very welcoming, wouldn't mind going back there.

Fantastic venue and great quality on the little things!

Its a super cozy little place and there are quite a few restaurants literally 200m away in 2nd avenue! There are a few small details like a coffee plunger (with ground coffee), milk in the fridge. A bottle of white wine and some lovely Nougat sweets as little extra details. Nick is super friendly and lovely to converse with. Overall just lovely people and would definitely go stay there again!

The only thing I would suggest is maybe getting fiber internet for future. It was not a big issue for me, but I can imagine that people will want good internet (almost expect it by now) everywhere they go.

Room was small but we had busy outdoor programme so time spent in room was minimal

I thought overall very good value for money. Surrey Street was very convenient for my needs as well as walking distance to a number of restaurants.. Complimentary wine was a lovely touch. Hosts put gas heater in room for our comfort. Host offered me use of garage but it was too small for my vehicle. Parked in street but area appears very safe.

Room and bathroom a little on small size but this was expected. Some minor maintenance needed.

Cosy and comfortable

Nick and Hailey are superb hosts. Phone calls were answered promptly, they were always smiling, and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome – there were snacks, bottled water and even a bottle of wine in the fridge! My washing was done with speed, efficiency as well as a friendly smile. Their two cats also did their best to make me feel welcome and were very well behaved. There is a small garden with mountain views. I felt very safe at all times and did not have any problems with the WiFi. The property is a short walking distance from various restaurants and coffee shops.
