Overall very good. Nice & quiet. Only annoying thing was there was only 1 decent teaspoon & not enough washing up liquid. We had a great time & pretty pleased with our choice.

Loved the location and chilled-out no-fuss vibe of this truly beachfront property. Yes, its exterior has been subject to the full effects of salt spray off the Southern Ocean, but inside there's every provision and it's lovely and clean.It didn't take our dog long to get to know the way to the beach! Perfect for an off season escape.

Unwind are not very professional in handling the property. At one stage they randomly canceled the booking and then took final payments from incorrect card they were not authorised to.The oven stopped working. While we understand it may be difficult to get service staff during holidays, late January is hardly peak season and sending a âbrush offâ sms is not acceptable. We were forced to use the very small BBQ and were clearly told we would be charged $50 if we did not clean it.While we enjoyed our holiday, we will never use unwind again nor stay at this property again.

We have stayed in this property on a few occasions due to the location and proximity to the beach. It is one of the older 'shacks' but good to see that the property was clean and everything was functioning including a new TV.

We always enjoy Middleton and the property is perfect - on the beach, plenty of space and very functional. Enjoy views of the ocean, easy access to the beach and backyard cricket.

What a great holiday house. All the comfort you need with stunning views of the beach. Our dog also loved it as it was such an ideal spot for long walks on the beach.

Great location for us and the dogs. Great views. Great access to safe walking trails along beach .
Property a bit run down. Don't open bedroom sliding door screen , as the screen may fall out on hit you on the head , as it did with my daughter! ( signs of poor attempt to repair it previously) Upstairs toilet seat is all wrong, too small for bowl. Bedroom doors don't shut properly. Windows are in need of cleaning ! Coffee pod machine not working. The kettle wasn't working, however Bev, our host, quickly brought us a new one . All other whitegoods are great! No tea towels provided, No clothes dryer. No bath mats. Pile of hard rubbish at back of house. Rear lawn full of grass seed ( very dangerous for pets). Rear garden hose is useless, couldn't hose down dogs of beach sand and my car! Internet is good, Netflicks is not working as it should though. No sanitizer provided, you would think this mandatory in 2020! Vacuum cleaner blocked! it took for ever to vacuum anything! Overall it is a budget stay, you always get what you pay for!

Needs some TLC
Although the place was clean and tidy, comfortable and warm, attention to detail was sadly lacking. The seat on the upstairs toilet is the wrong size for the pan and was only attached on one side, making it uncomfortable to use. There is no door handle on the sliding door out to the balcony which makes it hard to open. The window in the dining room was difficult to close as the build up of dirt in the runners was excessive. There was no remote control available for the television which should be a given in this day and age. There were finger marks all over the windows as well as dog nose prints. We don't mind as we had our own dogs there too but these should have been removed if cleaning was done thoroughly. One night it was very windy and the front door downstairs, which had a notice not to use - so we didn't - blew open in the wind. Clearly it hadn't been closed properly either by the cleaning person or the previous people who hired the house. This is dangerous on many levels. Don't get me wrong, we loved our stay but the house needs some general maintenance to make it so much better.

We all very much enjoyed our long weekend getaway. Walking 30 seconds to the beach... relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine on the beach waiting for the sun to go down was amazing.

We loved staying here. Plenty of room for the family. Very comfortable and the view of the sea was priceless. Being able to walk directly across the road to the beach was so great. It shows the signs of its age on the outside but it was lovely on the inside. Rough diamond. So good being able to have to dogs with us too.
