Baby Beach Bungalow I is located in the coveted Baby Beach neighborhood of Ho'ona Road. This charming one-level cottage offers a large master bedroom (king bed) and a guest bedroom (queen/twin bed), each with a full bath, full kitchen, washer and dryer and so much more! Baby Beach Bungalow's homey interior, beach house decor and exquisite location combine for an unbeatable vacation home away from home. A quaint front lanai beckons you to relax, sip a cool drink while watching the setting sun or whales frolicking in the ocean-all less than 75 feet away from the white sands of Baby Beach. This property includes beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler and umbrella. Please feel free to call us if any of these items are missing during your stay. Perfectly located and close to all of Poipu's best attractions; 5 min drive west to Spouting Horn and 5 min drive east to Old Koloa Town. Less than 5 minute walk to one of the best snorkeling beaches on the island and a 5 minute walk to The Shops at Kukui'ula. *Reservation Fee of $150.00 is non-refundable upon cancellation. We spent Christmas at this lovely cottage. It was perfect for our family of four. The location is awesome! We spent a lot of time on the front lanai playing games and having family time. There is a concrete parking pad behind the house to park one or two cars. The bungalow is well equipped and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We enjoyed having the use of the beach chairs and beach towels to use. We loved the cat that would always greet us daily in the yard! We have stayed in luxury hotels and rented luxury beach homes but this time we wanted to rent something that was down to earth, simple and easy. Baby Beach Bungalow is reminiscent of days gone by. This was one of best places we have ever rented.

My husband and I got married on Kauai 19 years ago- brought our 3 kiddos this time to celebrate our oldest graduating high school. We chose this property based upon previous reviews and it’s location. The house was nicely equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable. The home was even better than the photos could show. So nicely decorated and really clean. We were nervous about no AC, but it cooled nicely in the evenings- did not bother us one bit. We kept all the windows open at night and used the extra fans in the bedrooms. In fact we all slept great at night. The outdoor shower was a family favorite- the boys used it over the indoor showers. The lanai area was perfect to eat, play games or just enjoy the evening. The kitties were nice to have around and loved the fish we barbecued. They were well fed while we were there. We did buy a couple nice boogie boards and left them for future guests. The beach is right across the street and you have a water view from the lanai. It is a very busy little beach, so you will have a lot of traffic in front of the home. The beach is good to sit and relax or if you have smaller kids. Our kiddos were older so we spent time at the bigger beaches. We loved our time here and will miss our evenings at the beach bungalow. Thank you for sharing your home!!

The property was very clean and location very good. However, it is not air conditioned. If you are coming from the south or other humid location, you can probably deal with it. If you are coming from Colorado or a similar dry climate, I would highly recommend you not stay here. Even with ceiling fans, it is just too hot and humid to be even remotely comfortable.

We had a great time at this hale! Wonderful location and a wonderful home! We had stayed nearby five years ago and finally made it back post Covid. We weren’t disappointed! Super location across the street from a little beach that is kid safe. Walkable to a wonderful little shopping center that has a great farmer’s market on Wednesdays. Be sure to get a Kauai Sugarloaf pineapple! We’ll be back! Mahalo!

This home was perfect for our family of four. It is well-decorated and supplied with many things we might need. The ocean is visible from the living room, kitchen, and porch, and the steps to the beach are literally across the street. The house is walkable to a shopping center, restaurants, and even Spouting Horn (although a bit farther). It was great!

Overall we enjoyed our stay here in June 2022. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary with our 3 kids and absolutely loved being so close to Baby Beach, where we renewed our vows. The home was pretty clean and finding chilled glasses in the freezer was a nice touch. The lack of air conditioning was difficult especially if we used the oven, it got unbearably hot in the house. The kids loved having the kitties around to feed, as well as the snorkeling gear and beach stuff. On the downside, the home was infested with ants. We didn’t even use the bathroom with the tub because it was crawling with ants everywhere. Ants were all over the dining table area which forced us to sit outside for each meal. Management was very responsive and sent someone right away to bait the ants but that never helped. We also found a roach in the kitchen cabinets which made me very uncomfortable for the duration of our stay. I realize it’s an island and a home on the beach but just can’t get used to living with them. We enjoyed our stay but we will probably look for a different home next time we come to Kauai.

What a lovely home. In the perfect location. Can walk to so many things: restaurants, shops, snorkeling, hikes, dive shops, parks, etc. Across the street is a gem of a beach. It's quiet, perfectly appointed, and designed to make you relax. We had the stay of lifetime and will be back.

We loved this rental! It was so convenient to baby beach and was well stocked with beach chairs and boogie boards. We definitely plan on renting again in the future. Our only complaint is that they feed the feral cats so they like to hangout on the porch.

We were so glad to get back to Baby Beach after 7 years. It is a perfect location in the south part of the island with a lovely beach that is for the most part calm and warned by the rocks in the shallow waters. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and had all the beach amenities we could ask for. We can't wait until we can make our way back. Mahalo!!

The house is incredible. It’s just steps from the beach and you actually get a little ocean view through the neighbor house car port. The house has beach chairs, snorkel equipment, an ice chest, and plenty of towels. It’s just a 5 minute walk to restaurants, Long’s drug store, shops, and a little high end grocery store. We would definitely stay there again.

Can't beat the location and on-site parking. House in general was great and well-stocked with the basics and more. Outside shower was great, front porch with grill was great for preparing food without overheating the house. We loved everything about it, with one exception - the ventilation. The tradewinds weren't blowing to cool the area off, and while the house has ceiling fans in living room, kitchen and bedrooms, they didn't really help. It never got below 85 in the house. We purchased 3 box fans from Home Depot and they barely helped, which made it tough for sleeping and very unpleasant for preparing food, lounging, etc.

This bungalow was super cute and well equipped for all our beach needs. Located right across the way from a baby beach and close to shopping centers. The front porch was utilized too for card playing and dinners at night while the sun went down.

Beach bungalow steps from Baby beach
This property was perfect to kick off our Kauai trip. We spent mornings walking to the beach with coffee in hand watching the beautiful landscape of ocean and sky as the sun was rising. We utilized the kitchen and played cards out on the front patio. The shower out back helped with rinsing off sand and the washer and dryer were helpful too. This home came with beach chairs and towel but no umbrella - so make sure to come equipped with one or take a trip to the local Long’s before they get wiped out of beach supplies.
All in all a beautiful stay and would highly recommend this rental.
