Comfortable lodgings in walkable distance from town with attentove host.

Brekky was a great start to the day every day and we could walk to town from where we were, even up to the cliff walk (a must if you have the time).

The shower faucet could have been a little stronger but a minor concern all the same.

Wonderful stay at the Atlantic Sunset

I had a fantastic stay at the Atlantic Sunset Guest Room in Portmagee, County Kerry. The view from our sea view room was absolutely stunning, and the room itself was not only beautiful but also comfortable and well-maintained. The location of the property was perfect, as it was just a short drive from the Kerry Cliffs, and only a couple of minutes from Portmagee, where we enjoyed some delicious meals. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and we felt right at home during our two-night stay in January. I'm already looking forward to returning for another visit!

The towels could have been a little bigger.

It is a beautiful setting with clean accommodations!

The location was excellent for our needs. The breakfast was fine, though simple. It is a place with beautiful views. The room was nice and clean. The host was friendly and helpful.

Perhaps a shelf in the bathroom would be helpful for personal items.

Superb

The views are excellent when Mother Nature plays along. The bed is very comfortable and large enough for two big adults. The cereals, yoghurt and real milk, daily, were a great. Clean, close to all things Kerry Coast.

Superb

We were in room 1 and had a fabulous view of Portmagee and the beautiful surrounding area. Big room. It was so great to have the complimentary cereal, tea & coffee. Milk and yogurt and water in the fridge. The owners were very welcoming.

Stay was only one night but perfect in every way.

Nice place. Nice people. Room was lovely, big and clean. The room included cereal and yogurt, coffee and tea. The bed was comfortable. We had a great sleep. Walking distance to a nice pub for dinner. We would stay here again.

Exceptional

We stayed at Atlantic Sunset on New Years eve, we luckily came across it as I kept refreshing for a booking at late notice. The room was lovely and included a private bathroom which was great. Everything was extremally clean and beautiful and the little extras really made it such as tea, coffee, milk etc. It has been one of our favourite New Years so far, I would highly recommended Atlantic sunset if you are looking for beautiful views, friendly staff and a lovely cosy room to stay in. We had a brilliant time here :)

Beautiful little spot

Excellent service, host upgraded us as the room with best view was empty. Rate was room only and very good value for a very comfortable room. Host left yogurt, cereal , Tea and coffee for next morning which was a lovely touch. We'll definitely go back.

Lovely place to stay! Great opportunity to stay in a amazing location.

The surrounding area is gorgeous and enchanting. The room was clean & spacious. The host was very nice.

We could have used more than one roll of toilet paper. Sound from other visitors traveled through the walls rather easily.

Great little guest house in a great location

The Atlantic Sunset is a new lodging with lots of parking a couple of miles outside Portmagee. It's a big room with a comfy bed, dining area & table, couch, TV, modern bathroom and great Wifi. It's also one of the few places of the 10+ lodgings I stayed at that let me control the room temperature. When traveling in Oct. that's huge. My hosts were quite helpful, allowed me to arrive early for check in, made sure the fridge and pantry was well stocked with cerial, milk, yoghurt, etc. Portmagee, on the Ring of Kerry, is famous for the boat tours to Skelling Michael island one of the key locations for one of the recent Star Wars films -- and 1000 years before that, an Irish monastery. But the Atlantic is also just a 4 minute drive away from the Portmagee Cliffs, an amazing overlook that as a landscape photographer I found better than the Cliffs of Moher -- and with way less people. The island of Valentia, just over the bridge from Portmagee, also has some lovely sights (Geokaun Cliffs, lighthouse, etc.). So for me, this town at the end of the Kerry Peninsula was the best part of the Ring Road experience. And Atlantic Sunset was a perfect base for exploring.

Would definitely stay again! Beautiful location and appreciated the cleanliness and extra touches.

Very clean and spacious! Breakfast food was a bonus!

Pillows weren't comfortable and loud neighbors.

Was a lovely spot and the complimentary tea/coffee and breakfast items was a nice touch. However, a bit of dusting was required in the room especilally in corners and under the bed
