Breakfast OK but an extra charge of £5 for a full breakfast was a bit of a surprise are we had booked with breakfast included in the price

Easy to access, good fans were provided in the room which was very welcome. Pub downstairs was great and very well priced, the bear garden was an exceptional suntrap and had a great view of the eclipse.
Only negative was the separate bathroom to the room, but this is clearly stated when booking so was aware before arrival.

Convenient for a group booking. Nice bar.
Breakfast was bad, I had the shakshuka which was basically tinned tomatoes and onion, no peppers and the egg was overcooked and like leather.
Bar staff weren’t very hospitable or welcoming, one member who’d finished work was sat at the bar quite drunk and being very loud.
Emergency light in our room was like a beacon!
