Located in Makanda Township, this attractive cabin for $180 per night is a great option for your next break. THE CABINS ON INDIAN CREEK combine rustic style with modern amenities including full kitchens, open layouts, luxury baths, beautiful indoor and outdoor entertaining areas and amenities. Why stay in a hotel when you can have all this? Perfect for families, romantic getaways, winery tours, hunting or golf outings. These cabins were designed as warm and inviting vacation homes. Upon arriving, warm details like custom log and stone exteriors welcome you, in rustic style. The covered porches invite you to relax outside with friends and family over a cup of coffee or perhaps even dinner. Inside, the kitchen offers a spacious area for cooking and dining and the fireplace adds cozy ambiance to the living room. Imagine curling up next to the fireplace in a cozy cabin, soaking in a whirlpool tub, or relaxing by an outdoor fire pit all amidst a beautiful wooded, lake front property. Just minutes from Giant City State Park, numerous wineries, lakes, & golf courses, and Carbondale, Illinois and the campus of Southern Illinois University (SIUC). This cabin has everything you need and it is so comfy cozy. There is an amazing view and a smooth paved road makes it so easy to get to. We had a wonderful time - the kitchen has everything, the beds are comfy and the fireplace is so nice. We definitely will be coming back again!

If you like being in the country but close to town and things to do this is the place. We stayed in cabin 1 for a few nights while in town for a swim meet. The rooms/beds were cozy. The view was beautiful. It was great being able to relax with friends, a glass of wine and snacks after a long day at the pool. We were within a 5-10 min drive to the campus. There are also a ton of wineries to choose from as well, nearby. And a few hiking/walking paths nearby. The property is situated on a private road with a pond. It looks like you can swim in warmer months, as there is a dock. They also had kayaks and a fire pit, which we did not have the time to use. Would stay here again.

We loved the cabin and the amenities, over looking the pond was awesome and just down the hill is a covered bridge! Beautiful scenery! We definitely would recommend to others and would return for a future stay!

The location of this property was perfect for the Shawnee Wine Trail. We rented a shuttle through Wright Way Transportation.

We had a wonderful time. Cabin is located on a pond where we enjoyed watching and listening to the wildlife. All the necessary amenities and then some! Loved having our own private fire pit. Thanks for a great stay!

The cabin was very cozy and nice! It has a balcony that overlooks a pond on the main level, and a walk-out basement with a patio by the pond. It was perfect for our sisters' getaway wine tasting trip!! It was also very clean!!!

Called when I was about 15 minutes away as she asked and was told she'd be there in a few minutes. We were the 1st one's onsite, yet last ones checked in about an hour and half after being told it would be a few minutes.
I will definitely return to the area and hope to stay at the cabins with my family.

2 Adult Couples
My husband and I were looking to do hiking with friends and this was the perfect accommodations. We each had private bedrooms and bathrooms and the kitchen was just large enough to cook in. The grounds and cabin were kept clean and was very peaceful. Janet was helpful and kind during check in. The cabin is located close to Carbondale if you want to drive 5-10 minutes to a store or restaurant. I would recommend this to a small family or 2 adult couples. Great weekend get-a-way!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin on the pond. It was larger than we had expected, not realizing there’s an entire lower level family room along with a bedroom and full bath. We spent our evenings on the upper balcony by the pond and watched the sun set. We did a lot of touring of southern Illinois and went into Wisconsin to visit the town of Saint Genevieve. We had time to visit 3 wineries and one brewery. The cabin was adorable, super clean, and Janet made check-in and check-out a breeze. If there was ANY downside at all it would be that the couch upstairs in the living room needs to be replaced. Felt like we were going to fall through - not very comfortable. BUT!! The shower was fabulous, bed was comfy and balcony was welcoming and peaceful. We had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to go back in the future.

I’ve stayed on the property twice and had a great experience each time. Not only are the cabins so nice they have plenty of activities on the property. Close enough to town that pizza delivers! Also great location for wineries and trails.

The Wine Trail Cabin number 1 was perfect for our family gathering in Carbondale. Tons of room upstairs and down. Clean and well appointed and Janet was delightful. We definitely want to come back for a longer stay next time.

Not our first time staying here. Love it every time. It's so close to town, but enough out of the way that you feel like you're in the woods.

Home away from home.
I enjoyed my stay very much. The beds were comfortable and the cabin very clean with excellent accommodations. I loved the decor and the kitchen was very nice. We were able to prepare all meals easily and the table seated us nicely. The exterior setting was serene and peaceful. Plus, it was very convenient with nearby shopping and Carbondale.
My brother wanted to fish for the catching, but understood the wishes of the property owner. Yet, it would have been an added plus.
I will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Cabin
This is a great cabin. There were two couples and we each had our own floor. Very clean! The pond was really nice. Full of fish you could feed. Janet was great and very helpful.

I t was a lovely place to stay and we enjoyed it. We left an entry in the book at the cabin.
The location was great and easy to get to restaurants, entertainment, shopping, parks etc.
The cabin was very nice and everything was top-notch (the furniture, & amenities were very nice.. We enjoyed the swimming hole and all the scenery. We would come back again when we can relax more. The check-in ladies were very nice and knowledgeable also. The Keelers
